And what are the ground rules?
Some Guidance
"First off, no more boys over at the house. If you want to date, fine, but I'm meeting them first, we're having dinner as a family, and I'm approving of them.", I speak. She rolls her eyes.
"Secondly, no more late nights. You have a curfew. 9PM on a school night, 10PM on weekends. No exceptions.", She pouts at this but remains silent.
"Third, you're taking school seriously. One more missed class, one more bad report, and I'm shipping you to military school for the rest of the year." She's turning red in the face but bites her tongue. She clearly wants to say something back, but she surprisingly allows me to finish.
"Finally, you're helping out with the bills around here. I'm not supplying you with money for a new wardrobe every month, letting you go out, party, rack up parking tickets and fixing that BMW you love so much. Got it?" I ask, stern as ever.
I look at her for a reply, and she begins to speak.
