Sneak in through the laundry room

While the front entrance was heavily guarded the back only had one man patrolling across the alleyway and the street, plenty of time for Peggy to reach the garbage chute and start climbing.

Having done this once already Peggy had no trouble climbing up the chute, if anything it was easier now than it had been last time. Without her clothes causing her to lose friction while climbing she could move faster, of course Peggy would trade the easy climb for clothes.

As she emerged into the laundry room sweaty and her hair a mess Peggy waited for the shocked gasp of Miss Fry. Recalling the last time Miss Fry had almost caught her climbing in through the garbage chute she remembered how shocked she was that Peggy was only just arriving from work at that late hour. Peggy figured if she caught her now naked she would probably have a heart attack. Luckily Peggy found herself alone.

Opening the laundry room door slightly Peggy was relieved that the hall way was empty, she guessed that everyone had been gathered downstairs by the g-men. Good she thought she stood little chance of being discovered, or so she hoped.

Still holding the vial that had gotten her in this predicament in the first place Peggy knew her top priority was to hide it, she had contemplated leaving it in the laundry room but decided against it, she couldn't risk it being found by chance. Her next thought was to hide it in her room but if indeed the men were here searching for her they had no doubt searched her room top to bottom. Eventually Peggy picked a hiding spot for the vial, it would be risky but it was the only place Peggy could think of that they wouldn't look, Angie's room.

Angie Martinelli who had gotten Peggy a room here in the first place also happened to be her neighbor, her room being right across the hall from Peggy's. While **** to get Angie caught up in this Peggy couldn't think of any other place to hide the vial and assuming Angie was downstairs with everyone else Peggy could retrieve it later without Angie ever having known it was in her room.

Their rooms were at the end of a hallway and luckily this hallway was also empty, though as she neared the doors Peggy had a horrible feeling she knew why it was empty. As she opened the door to her room Peggy could only sigh she had guessed right, everything was gone, her clothes, shoes and just about everything else that she owned, they had even stripped her bed of the sheets.

Knowing she couldn't dwell on her problems right now Peggy walked over to Angie's door and was relieved to find it unlocked, as expected Angie's room was untouched giving Peggy a few options as to where to hide the vial. Deciding to hide it in the closet Peggy opened the door and was relieved to find it contained several dresses meaning she could at least get dressed before tackling her next problem.

Just as she was about to grab a dress Peggy heard footsteps quickly walking down the hallway towards her, knowing she couldn't get dressed in time Peggy did the only thing she could think of, she jumped in the closet and closed the door. The footsteps entered Angie's room and began walking around, her heart beating rapidly in her chest Peggy held her breath.
