"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid," Kenny smacked the side of his head with each word as he pulled back into his parking spot and shut off his car, "Anna. You seriously said Anna of all girls? I could have lied and at least said Quinn, or...anyone else! Anna isn't like that, how the fuck am I going to get her to come out for a drink? And how do I explain that Brian now thinks we're fuck buddies? God, Kenny, you absolute moron!"

Satisfied with the tongue-lashing, Kenny got out of his car and headed up the stairs to his apartment. He quietly opened the door and slipped inside, kicking off his shoes by the door to sneak right past Mindy's room. Considering that it was past Midnight he didn't want to walk her, or admittedly, talk at all right not. He had done enough fucking up for one night, no need to see if he could surprise himself again. Yet, just as he successfully bypassed her bedroom door he heard the click of the bathroom door in front of him open and his groggy friend shuffled her way out. "Oh, hey. Just getting back?" The Asian girl curled a fist to rub one eye as she let out a squeaking yawn, "Pretty late."

"Uh...yeah, just getting back. Wasn't expecting it to be so long." Mindy slowly lowered a hand, staring blankly at Kenny, "What?"

"Are you drunk?"

He tilted his head, "Uh, no? I mean, I drank a little bit with Brian, but I'm not drunk."

"Then why are you acting so weird?" Kenny took a half step back as she stepped towards him,

The teenager lifted his hands innocently, "I'm not acting weird."

"Yeah you are, your voice is doing this whole monotone thing and you don't want to look at me." Mindy's eyes were flicking over him like a detective catching her suspect dead to rights, "What did you do?"

"What did I do?" Kenny echoed and the pair slowly stepped around one another, trading places but he knew he was by no means free from this conversation, "That's a crazy thing to ask. You're like half asleep and I literally said nothing to make you ask that."

"You really think I don't know how to read you or know when you're avoiding a question?"

"Mindy, this is night one of living together, I didn't think you were going to suddenly become Sydney on me."

She crossed her arms, "I'm not, but you're being weird, and whenever you're with Brian, you sometimes do stupid things to keep up with him. And you always end up regretting it."

Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. Quit rubbing it in. "It's nothing, Mindy, I just went out and made myself into an idiot, you know? Like usual."

"And how exactly did you do that?"

Kenny let out a slow exhale and rubbed a hand over his eyes, "Let's just say I got myself involved in a double date...without a date."

"Kenny." Mindy didn't hide her disappointment as she gave her eyes a toss, "Why do you always get so worked up by him? You know you have nothing to prove to anyone." Kenny could only shrug his shoulders and Mindy sighed, "Well, I guess you better fess up tomorrow morning." She concluded as she finally turned back towards her bedroom, "Or find yourself a date quick."

"Yeah...I work on that." Kenny dejectedly murmured back heading towards his bedroom in turn.

However, as Kenny reached the living room he glanced over to the couch, and illuminated by the moonlight was Anna, fast asleep. "Oh, you stayed the night," Kenny hummed under, admiring how her blonde hair messily spilled over her face. He sighed, and turned to leave, but paused, glancing back as his eyes trailed down and glimpsed the girl's waist. The blanket that Mindy loaned Anna was hanging off the edge of the couch, and Anna's ass was on full display, just barely covered by her panties. "Fuck..." Kenny robotically took a few steps towards the couch, his eyes glued on her perfect cheeks. He had never once come close to seeing Anna so exposed, and he was sure this was a decision only made out of necessity if she stayed over on a whim.

His eyes traced back up Anna's body landing on her face once more and it was like a flash that dozens of thoughts came pouring through his mind. The idea that he could ask her out and actually bring her out on this double date. Somehow, it could go right, and not only does Brian believe everything but they do hit it off. Then he could take Anna on a real date. They could go see a movie, have dinner, or walk through the city. They'd take more pictures together, somehow this amazing beautiful girl would want to go back to this apartment with him. And then once they headed into his bedroom, he could slowly undress her and Anna would --

No, Kenny, what the fuck are you thinking? Kenny chastised himself while squeezing his eyes shut, immediately feeling shame in not only his thoughts but what he was actively doing now. _Fuck, I really shouldn't be doing this, this isn't right. _Kenny diverted his gaze, reached down, grabbed the blanket, and carefully covered Anna back up, "Sorry for looking," He softly apologized and walked off to his bedroom. As the door shut, Anna's eyes peered open.
