Chapter 3 by BoobSweat BoobSweat

Skate date?

Skate Heaven

I paced around my bedroom as I thought of what to wear. Usually I just wear some shorts and a t-shirt but I think I'll try something new this time.

I waltzed towards the closet and fumbled through my hung clothes. My baggy black jeans were calling my name, and to compliment them I decided on my beige button up. I put some texturing chalk into my soft blonde hair to give it that signature curl at the ends.

I sprayed myself with some old spice deodorant and grabbed my keys. Before I walked out the door I got a good look at myself in the mirror, and to be honest, I thought I looked fly as fuck.

SHUT

I pulled out my phone as I was walked over to my car and headed to our DMs, I typed out

"Omw"

Okie

I opened the door to my two door Honda Accord (The 2018 one yeah be jealous) and quickly drove off to go pick her up. The relaxing purr of the V6 under the hood and bops from my playlist helped to calm my pre-date nervousness. My clock on my dash read 7 P.M.

Within a couple minutes I pulled up to her house. She lived in a quiet residential neighborhood right outside of one of the main towns in my area. Her house was cute, I can tell it's been in her family for awhile. There were a ton of mossy walls around their garden and it was filled with various flowers, and there was a cobbled stone pathway leading up to the door.

I hopped out and walked over to her door.

*Knock knock*

I leaned on the entrance walls as I waited for her to greet me. I heard the approach of her footsteps as the door slowly swung open.

There she stood, I had to tilt my head down a decent amount to look at her in the eyes. She looked up at me, her deep green eyes absolutely penetrated my gaze and almost trapped me. She smirked and gave me a soft punch on the chest, "You look really good tonight." Her Russian accent bled subtly through her chirpy voice.

I looked down at her fit; she was wearing a huge white baggy hoodie over some blue leggings. She had some black vans on as well. I quickly noticed just how well figured she was, her hips would make Shakira jealous and her was ass thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. I couldn't see the shape of her breasts but they were big enough to poke through her already large hoodie.

"You look pretty nice yourself," I blushed. I shook my head, and quickly grabbed her hand, "Where are my manners!?! It's a pleasure to meet you Anna." I reached down and softly kissed her hand. She softly cooed and stared back into my eyes," Oh my what a gentleman~"

I kept composure and gently pulled her to walk beside me towards my car.

She strided beside me, "Oooh I fuck with the Accord, the two door is honestly kinda sexy."

"Just wait to you hear that vtec." I chuckled out.

She cutely giggled as we stood next to the passenger door of my car, as I leaned over to open it for her.

She sat down, I closed the door and quickly did the same.

My hands were rested on top of my steering wheel as I leaned back into my seat. I put my hand on the stick and put it into drive, before long we were on the road.

"So Jacob... how well can you skate?"

"Well, I wouldn't exactly call myself a professional but I think I'm pretty good." I smugly said.

"We'll just have to wait and see then but for me you're basically gonna have to baby me."

I turned for a split second with a look of shock in my eyes, "You've never skated before?!?"

She blushed as she turned away, "I tried once and it...," she shuddered for a moment," did not end well..."

I giggled and grabbed her hand, "Look you don't have to be nervous, I'll make sure you don't fall."

She turned back to me, there was a heart stealing sparkle in her eyes. She gave me a cute smile as she held my hand.

Our small talk carried on for the rest of the ride until we eventually pulled up at the skating rink. I pulled up near the backside of the parking lot, and we both stepped out.

We looked up at the sky as we walked towards the ticket booth. The sky looked like cotton candy.

We both approached the acne ridden cashier that was sat below a red and white striped wooden booth.

"Two, tickets both with skates please." I said politely whilst handing him my credit card.

He gave me a **** smile and took my card, the transaction went through and he handed me two small ticket stubs. I looked down to Anna and smiled as we both walked into the building behind the booth.

We entered and we were met with pretty flurry of neon colors as R&B music blasted throughout the building. To our left sat another man in sunglasses next to a giant rack of roller skates, he sort of gestured us with his arm to come near him so we did, "Red stubs ey! That means I get to do my job! So what size'll it be for you ma'am, a 7s woman I'm guessing?"

She giggled at his assumption, " Well actually I am a woman's 8 but you did get pretty close."

He tilted his head and coilingly ducked his lips to the side. He stood up from his chair and walked behind the counter, "And you a size 11 I'm guessing?"

As he grabbed the size 11 and 8 skates I responded, "Actually you got that one pretty spot on, you get to keep your job for another day."

He giggled as he spun the wheels and slammed them down onto the counter, "Yeah I guess so, y'all enjoy y'alls night alright?"

Anna giggled as she grabbed her skates, "You too!"

We both walked towards the main skating center and as we walked in we quickly realized there were only like 6 people there. The pleasant groove of Outkast's Hey Ya! bellowed throughout the rink as the two disco balls that centered the rink rotated ever so slowly. Almost every table was completely empty except for maybe 2, and the rink had only one couple, and two loners in some hoodies (which I was usually one of).

I looked to her as she beautifully bounced alongside me towards a table, "So are you gonna be a big girl and go into the grown ups rink or do you need me to teach you in the kiddie rink?"

She blushed at my question and punched me in the shoulder hard as hell, "Hey just because I don't know how to skate I'm not a helpless baby!"

I quickly started rubbing my shoulder and tried to sympathize with her, "Hey hey I was just making a joke! Don't worry I'll help you out like the damsel in distress you are."

She blushed again but turned away this time as we plopped down at a table directly next to the entrance of the rink. We both untied our shoes and tossed them on top of the table. I started to tie my bright red roller skates together while she did the same. After about a minute of us fumblingly tightening our skates, we looked down out our now tightened skates and then to each other. She looked nervous, there was an almost scared look on her face.

"Hey don't worry, you've got this, remember, I'm making sure you don't fall a single time this whole night!" I said as I stood up in front of her.

"Now look at how I'm standing right now, this is how you want to be standing the majority of the time you're skating." I said as I stood with my feet parallel to each other, my hands calmly resting beside my hips, "Whenever you are moving forward, you want to stand straight, and whenever you want to turn, lean in that direction, let your momentum do the work." The moves were coming back to me, my feet were feeling free flowing again. I skated around her a couple of times trying to show her the basics.

"You just kind of want to push of with your heel but almost to the side if that makes sense, here I think you're ready to try it out." I said as I grabbed her hand. I must've been a little finicky as I jerked her up a little harder than expected, and she quickly ended up in my arms. She let out one breath that was way more pleasing to my ear than it should've been as she held her head against my chest for a few heartwarming seconds. She looked up at me with a sparkle in her eyes, "OK, I trust you, but can we please start in the kiddie rink?"

I chuckled as I slowly pushed her away, making sure my right arm was still connected, " OK, that's fine, I'll go slow don't worry, here push off with your right foot from the front like this."

She learned quickly as we both made our way to the kiddie rink. I did more of the same coaching as she stumblingly skated in circles around the kiddie rink, her legs were wobbly and her knees shook ever so subtly but she possessed all the basic motor functions of a skater. I quickly grabbed my arm around hers as she made a lap around the rink. As we made our lap back to the entrance of the rink, I pulled her to me as I exited the kiddie rink and onto the adult rink. She looked up at me with a scared look in her eyes as we merged into the rink.

There were so little people that it almost felt like it was just me and her. The D.J must've saw us enter as some Bobby Caldwell started to play, it was starting to feel magical. It started out slow, as she firmly held my hand, she wobbled and wobbled but I never let her go. After a couple of minutes, we we're both skating at a decent speed. As we approached the start of a straightaway, I let her hand go as I sped in front of her. I quickly spun around as I skated backwards, blowing her a kiss in the process. She blushed as she put up her hand to catch it.

I was feeling myself what can I say. I grabbed her arm and started to slowly spin her around, she almost wobbled and fell but I caught her fall as I grabbed her from the waist. She was red as a tomato at this point and had a flustered look in her eyes. I rebalanced us and held her hand in place once again, "Sorry about that..."

"No no no! You looked super cool just now... and I still haven't fallen yet." She quietly said, she quickly put herself closer to me. I reached my arm around her as we calmly skated with each other. The evening grew dark as we enjoyed our time with each other, our favorite songs came on, many magical stares were had. The night was definitely one that I was gonna remember for the rest of my life.

We both got tired before long and made our way out the rink, and before long we were out the building. "Want to grab something to eat?" I asked her.

Her face glowed with a bright smile, "Yeah I'd like that, do you know any good coffee shops around here?"

I was a little taken by the want for coffee at 9 P.M at night but was to lovestruck to dwell on it for too long, "Yeah, I know this place called Morning Call they serve beignets and coffee."

She smiled and slowly leaned onto my console towards me, "I trust you Jakob, let's go!" I smiled and wrapped my arm around her as we made our way to the café.
