Sister Security

Kevin woke up on Sunday and went to Church with his aunt and cousins. Nicole was smiling at him but Amanda kept her on a short leash. After church, Anita stayed for some event and he took his cousins home. He went out to see Kennedy. She was out in her studio getting baked and had a bottle of liquor open. It was barely after noon.

Kevin asked her how business was going and if she had any clients. She said she didn't have any yet. He asked if she made her website yet and she hadn't. In fact she hadn't even started. He asked if she had been making new art. She hadn't done that either.

Kevin: So what have you been doing out her.

Kennedy: Mostly hanging out and thinking.

Kevin: Do you mean smoking and drinking?

Kennedy: That too.

Kevin: I know aunt Anita is a lot, but even at home mom and dad had some limits for you. I won't take you phone because you need that for business, but I think you need some help with discipline.

Kennedy: You know you are my younger brother right?

Kevin: Do you think you are acting like my older sister?

Kennedy: Ok, ok I know I need to get my act together. What are you going to do? Ground me?

Kevin: It seemed like Anita's methods had a real effect on you.

Kennedy: You wouldn't dare! That lady is crazy.

Kevin: Ok, then no more phone. But consequences will get more severe if you don't get started and show me your progress.

Kennedy: With no phone, it will be hard to work.

Kevin: So you want a different consequence?

Kennedy: No, but you aren't giving me good options.

Kevin: I gave you an option to do it on your own. I won't spank you like Anita did. You are my sister after all. But I am going to write a weekly schedule of goals and have you sign it each weekend. Michelle will inspect on the weekend for the previous week's goals. If you have failed, Michelle will punish you while I watch and learn. If you fail, I will also check your weed and alcohol use with Sophie. Any usage on a fail week will be added to the next week's punishment. Is that clear?

Kennedy: Yes.

Kevin: Ok next week you will have your website up, call at least 10 potential clients, and have an outline for a new project. Can you agree to that?

Kennedy: Yes.

Kevin ok, print and sign a document that says so. I will take it to Michelle tomorrow and discuss with her.

Kennedy: Ok. I will bring it to you shortly.

Kevin: Thank you.
