She tries to hide

With her mind made up, Annette darted her head around, searching desperately for any place to hide. The first spot of which was the closet in the corner of the room.. it might work, but the door was slatted and weak, if it found her...-

*BANG* ... *CRASH*

Annette froze up in fear as a wound-covered gray arm smashed through the front door, sending small splinters of wood flying into her house - luckily just missing the Priestess as she summoned the courage to overcome the horror of the situation. Stifling a scream, she ran as quickly as she could to the closet, sliding the white slatted door open, finding enough space and promptly crouching down. She reached her hands up to cover her mouth and looked intently between the slats towards the door where larger amounts of wood, both in quantity and dimensions, smashed into her living room.

She couldn't stop worrying about the fact she called out earlier. If this person knows she's here and the back door was still closed, they would surely search every part of the house until they found her. Annette could do nothing but pray to Erena, both for her safe deliverance and a timely intervention of the townspeople, who must have been on high alert based on the screams earlier. For the first time, she cursed herself for her rather isolated home in the village.

Refocussing on the situation at hand, she narrowed her eyes at the front door as the intruder pushed through the few remaining pieces of wood on the hinges and stumbled into Annette's home.
