She thinks you're Adonis (male)

There is a Greek myth about a man named Adonis. A young man was considered so attractive, so handsome, so charming that the Goddesses Aphrodite and Persephone fell in love with him and were competing for his love. Ultimately, Zeus degreed that they both had to share him and both be Adonis's lovers. He would divide his time between the two goddesses. Soon, Adonis is killed during a hunting trip, though how isn't entirely known. He died in Aphrodite's arms, and both goddesses mourn his ****.

Why is this relevant? Because Aphrodite believes that you're the rebirth form of Adonis.

She believes it 100%. She gives a bunch of confusing reasons why: similar appearance and charm, Adonis's love spring reappeared, incredible similar aura feels, etc. You don't understand any of it.

You guess that since she believes you're adonis that she would try to court you, and you are correct. After coming to her conclusion, Aphrodite does what she can to show her love for you. She constantly flirts with you anytime she meets you, frequently hugs and sits close to you, leaves gifts for you, helps you any chance she gets, etc. She even protects you from bullying, threating to turn those who hurt to a hideous being destined to suffer and feel alone.

You're not sure if Persephone shares Aphrodite's belief. You'd ask her if you could, but Aphrodite is doing everything in her power to keep you two away from each other. She says something wanting you to herself and not wanting to share to the 'corpse queen'.

While you are flattered that Aphrodite considers you and the most handsome man to the same being, you're also terrified. The story of Adonis is a tragedy after all. You just hope your fate is different.
