Of course, as fun as being this enormous was, Laron knew that is was hardly practical, especially as a goddess. How would she hear her people's worship? And so Laron shrunk down to a more manageable size, somewhere around fifty feet tall, and addressed her subjects. From then till the end of time, Laron ruled over the Earth as its goddess, and in memory of the weak hero she had once been, she ruled in what she saw as fairness. Her people lived long, happy lives, and civilization entered a golden age that never ended. Of course, every so often someone would question her omnipotence, or her benevolence. Such people usually quickly found themselves inside her stomach. So it all worked out, right?
