How does Hermione's desperate sprint towards relief go?

She reaches the bathroom, only to find it flooded.

Chapter 18 by dolpa1 dolpa1

The second floor corridor was lit and empty.
With both hands pressed against herself. Her every step made her naked breasts jump up and down, her bare feet striking cold stone. Hermione ran as fast as she could while fighting the increasing pressure in her bladder.

More light under doors. More voices behind them. Luckily for Hermione, most of the students had disappeared into the main staircases. However some rooms were still occupied. She could hear the students within them as she sprinted past the doors.
The particular sound of winding-down conversations, chairs scraping, bags being packed. Any one of those doors could open at any moment.

Walking almost on her tiptoes past each closet doors and running distance between each doors. Acting purely on instinct, as her conscious mind was occupied by fighting the pressure in her bladder.

The pressure was constant and demanding and she had nothing left to apply to it. Both hands pressed as hard as she could manage. Thighs clenched with every stride. She'd been holding since long before the closet and she was very, very aware of what that meant.

There was a door ahead, partly ajar, the light from inside throwing a thin yellow stripe across the stone floor. Hermione slowed, moved to the opposite wall, and slid past it sideways.

Then: footsteps from behind one of the doors to her right. {Not receding} Approaching. Someone coming out.

Hermione stopped.

Nowhere to go. No armour, no tapestry, no alcove, nothing. She was standing in open corridor, bare from the waist up, both hands pressed against herself, when the door opened.

A student was about to step halfway out, their back to Hermione, still talking to someone inside. Hermione bolted towards the wall right by where the door creaked on its hinges and hid behind it.

She didn't dare breathe.

"—I know, it's disgusting in there," the student said. "But it'll be empty. Nobody goes near the bathroom with the ghost."

Hermione's stomach dropped, processing what she just heard.

Myrtle's bathroom.

Someone else was about to go to Myrtle's bathroom. The one place on this floor she'd been counting on being empty.

It was at that moment that her bladder chose to remind her of her situation. In the form of a small, warm substance that slithered down her leg.

This sudden wetness almost sent Hermione into panic mode and she reacted by doubly crossed her legs and pressing her hands even harder against it.

Oh Merlin! Not now. Not now. Not when I'm here—

She just managed to stop the dam from fully bursting, but she knew now that she was at her limit. Hermione looked again at the hallway real quick. The shadow of the student darkened the otherwise glowing outline of the room on the opposite wall as it was about to turn out into the hallway when the shadow of someone else's arm caught its own.
"Empty it may be." said another voice from within the classroom, "But it is still a GIRLS room. You are not going in there. Besides," There was another pause, then that voice continued in another more sultrily tone, "its now empty in here." The student now out in the hallway gave a lustful smirk in agreement and disappeared back into the classroom.

Under any other circumstances, Hermione would have ducked points for their conduct. But, this time, her desperate naked state left her instead feeling a bit relieved at having yet another obstacle averted. So, as soon as the door closed, she quickly continued her sprint to the bathroom.

Past the last two doors. Around the final turn. And there it was — the bathroom entrance, the battered OUT OF ORDER sign hanging at an angle, the same as it had been for as long as she could remember. She hit the door with her shoulder and pushed through.

Water.

It covered the floor inches deep, still spreading, fed by whatever was overflowing from somewhere inside. The sound of it filled the small tiled space — a continuous rush and trickle bouncing off the walls.

Hermione looked at the water continuously flowing from all the toilets and sinks. Nothing functional. Nothing she could use properly. In any other bathroom, she would've been disgusted. As she would be standing with her bare feet in sewage water.

However, her own need superseded her own reservations on the state of the room. They were still toilets, after all. If anyone found evidence after — and they'd be looking for it, given the state of this room — they'd never be able to separate what was hers from what the plumbing had already put there.

Hermione waded toward the nearest stall and shut the door behind.
