She looks like she needed rescuing.

Kevin unlocks his phone and hands it to you, as Gemma looks relieved you're here to break the tension between the two of them. You take the phone and scroll through his contacts. It doesn't take you long to find what you're looking for, a contact card simply titled 'Mommy'. You send Mrs Reed's details to your number, before deleting any trace of the communication. You don't want him to know about you and his mother just yet. Maybe it's the fact he just got out of the hospital and you're taking pity on him. Or maybe it's the fact you jizzed all over his mother less than 24 hours ago. But you decide not to screw with him today.

You hand the phone back to him, with a nod. Kevin looks slightly confused, perhaps expecting you to do something more, but seems relieved that you're not messing with him any further. Besides, you have a more interesting thing to play with, now that Gemma's here.

"Ready to go?" you ask Gemma. You relish in the expression on Kevin's face. He looks very upset that you and Gemma still appear to be on friendly terms.

She nods, and the two of you start walking down the street, leaving Kevin staring at you holding his phone in his hand.

"Thanks for saving me," she says, with a cheerful smile. "I bumped into him walking out of the store and I couldn't just avoid him."

"You wanna go grab a drink?" you suggest, pointing towards a nearby bar that you know doesn't check ID.

Gemma nods in agreement, and the two of you head inside.
