She helps you with some embarrassing methods.

"Seriously?"

"Yes."

It's around late afternoon/ early evening on a school day. The school isn't empty with several clubs having meetings, sports teams having practices, and a few students staying to study or hang out. You just got done cleaning a class room for extra credit and ran into Dorothy, who is free since there is no night classes tonight. You both decided hang out a bit and talk. Dorothy was just telling a story about weird carnival routines she has seen.

"She got naked and did a tap dance routine?" You asks.

"Yeah, I’ve got to hand it to her. She’s got more moxie than I do. I’d never dream of doing anything in the buff in public like that," Dorothy replies.

"Yeah me neither. I wonder how she could do it," You say.

"I asked her, and she said she’s an exhibitionist. But she gave me a bit of advice about doing small but daring things to help 'break my shell.' " Dorothy explains. "I tried it and, wouldn't you know, it worked. Maybe it could do the trick for you, too."

"Yeah, I doubt that. But that's alright. I'm okay the way I am," You state.

"But you’ve got the potential to be more confident and adventurous, I just know it. I can help you get there, old sport." Dorothy insist.

You sigh. Dorothy has been wanting help you to 'break your shell' for a while now. But you kinda wary of it. You're fine the way things are don't wanna rock the boat and possible make things worse.

"I appreciate the offer, but I'm gonna pass again," You politely turn. " Anyways, I have to go and get something out of my locker."

Dorothy looks disappointed, but then suddenly brights up and smiles as if she has a brilliant idea.

"Alrighty then, catch you later!"

She then suddenly disappears. You shake your head and start walking to your locker, wondering what made Dorothy smile.
