Freya has a crush on you. Freya—the Norse goddess of love, beauty, war, and magic—has a crush on you.

The signs are obvious. At first, it started simply—casual conversations in class about myths, upcoming exams, and random topics. But then you began to notice things. She always seemed to find reasons to be around you, whether it was ‘randomly’ running into you, offering to tutor you in history, or volunteering to be your gym partner.

Then came the gifts. A beautifully etched dagger with an elegant design. A stylish, hand-sewn scarf. Each one something she claimed she “just had lying around.” But they felt too perfect, as if they had been made just for you.

Most telling of all was her body language. The way she stood close—closer than necessary. The way her knees would slightly buckle when you complimented her. The way her expression darkened just a bit when someone even looked like they were flirting with you. And the way she looked at you when she teased or complimented you—like you were the only person in the room.

The weirdest part? Freya isn’t trying to be this obvious. She’s clearly trying to be subtle and seems to think her crush is a secret—but it’s definitely not, at least not to you. Maybe, since she’s a love goddess, she’s used to being crushed on, not doing the crushing. That’s the only way you can explain why she’s so bad at hiding her attraction.

While you’re incredibly flattered—and, honestly, kind of honored—that a love goddess is in love with you, you’re also very concerned.

First, you’re not even sure you like girls like that... though you have to admit, Freya is fucking hot.

Second, you’re afraid she might lash out in jealousy toward others who have a crush on you, like Ava—and, from what Amy suggests, maybe even Madison. Heck, she might even lash out at Chris and your other close friends over some misunderstanding.

Third, and most importantly: stories of mortals getting romantically involved with deities never end well. You really don’t want anything bad happening to you.

You just hope this whole thing with Freya resolves itself soon.
