Candace was pleased - her red lipstick complemented her red lace camisole and denim skirt, with two-inch sandal heels to boot. Confident, she strutted to the ENΦ house and arrived to an indoor party that was in full swing. She looked around and saw Josh, her big crush. He was a typical steel-jawed jock; both the school's quarterback and its star lacrosse player. Candace blushed just even looking at him.

She grabbed a red solo cup and filled it with a mild cocktail to take the edge off. She nursed it and bumped around the crowd for casual conversation. She always kept her eyes on Josh, but the same could not be said for him. He was too busy talking to his bros and checking out other women. Envious, jealous, and slightly hurt, Candace began to grow weary of this charade.

She considered taking some drastic action to get his attention, and maybe even ask him to the homecoming dance. She wondered how many people streaked around here. What?!?!?! She wasn't exactly a prude, but this was radical; maybe the alcohol was more than she thought.
