"Princess, that's quite an interesting last name" Allisa remarked loudly as if she there was somebody nearby listening.

"Of course, it wouldn't do good if word spread that you were seen among the prostitutes and the like, if you would like you're welcome to come into my tent" he open the flaps of his small tent and gestured for Allisa to come in.

'Now could be the opportunity to get some of that sexy underwear' that strange voiced remarked, making itself known again.

"Very well, if you insist" Allisa accepted the offer, walking into the tailors tent.

Entering the tent, Allisa immediately noted it was much larger on the inside than it was on the outside.

"Spatial enchantments?" Allisa remarked.

"Indeed, I'm not surprised you were instantly able to realise" Barnabas answer, coming in after Allisa, closing the tent.

Allisa took in her surroundings. All around stood cheap crude mannequins, wearing a variety of high quality clothing. Ranging from simple shirts, to elegant dresses to even risque articles of underwear. Allisa could honestly say she was stunned by how surprising high quality these articles of clothing were, she couldn't help but reach out and touch one of the elegant dresses.

"This was made from Lamia skin, a monster drop" She muttered to herself impress, it takes a real talent to be able to work with monster drops. As, if handled incorrectly during the crafting, the material could be damaged beyond any use. Monster drops were simultaneously fragile and incredibly durable, depending on how you work with it.

"Impressed yet?" He asked with a smug look on his face, happy for his work to have such an effect on such a renowned figure.

"Why are you even here? A man of such talent wouldn't be in hanging around the prostitutes and other questionable people, I would expect you to be in one of the human royal capitals, selling these articles of clothing to nobility and royalty. Not to common whores and prostitutes" Allisa couldn't help but let her suspicions be known.

But to his credit Barnabas mere stood unfazed with a smile on his face "Part of the reason I'm here is the easier access to monster material for my work. Of which I am happy to offer my services to you free of charge " He bowed his head reverently.

"And what do you ask in exchange?". 'Humans always want something in exchange' Allisa thought, looking at the grinning man suspiciously.

"I wish to spend the rest of my life being your personal tailor. Making clothes dedicated for you." he bowed his head to Allisa, who just looked confused.

"You want me to be your patron?" Allisa's asked for clarification.

"If you wish to use such a simple word, then yes. But I will do all I can to serve you" he declared getting down on his knees.

"Hmmm" Allisa merely hummed.

'Another dog, this one begging for a master' the voice in her head mocked.

"Surely there are others just as deserving of your service" Allisa pointed out, such as the other female members of hero's party.

"This will come off a shallow and vapid, but it is hard to describe in words. I desire nothing more than to create beautiful clothes for beautiful girls. But beauty last only for a flicker of time, at least for us human. However as an elf, you will remain as youthful and beautiful for long after I'm gone. My grandfather once spoke of you, he saw a glimpse of you many decades ago and his words do you no justice. So all I simply desire is to create clothing that will forever compliment an eternal beauty" Allisa could see the struggle on face as he tried to articulate his desires.

"If you wish I could demonstrate my skill in tailoring. I recently just had my bath before encountering you, the water should still be warm and while you bathe I don't mind taking the time to get your current clothes washed and prepare some clothes for you to try if you desire." he continued to make himself of use to Allisa.
