She believes it, and decides to help Orihime however she can.

Okay... All Orihime had told her was crazy as hell, but it also all made sense, all the odd behaviours from before with Ichigo, Chad, Uryu, and of course, Orihime herself. Then there was the fact that the Sex Note was a thing, so that in itself proved supernatural powers, though it wasn't connected to this World, not that Chizuru knew that, so being skeptical was kinda silly at this point... Plus, with Orihime having to be honest with her telling her to tell her what happened, it's not like she could be lying... Delusional maybe, but again, supernatural powers existed, that much was clear to Chizuru.

"...just say for a second that I believe you..." she sighed, rubbing her forehead. "...where do we go from here?"

"...I don't really know..." Orihime admitted. "I'm clearly not strong enough to be more than a liability..."

"Bullshit, your powers are great for healing... Actually, why not use them on yourself?"

"Well, I hadn't thought of that," Orihime chuckled nervously. Jeez, she was so dense at times, but then again, she was so focused on helping others, she never bothered considering herself with her abilities. "But now the school knows I'm hurt..."

"So? You can take being injured for their sake, just reject your injuries, and then when you need the cast and bandages back on, reject the damage you did to them taking them off," Chizuru replied.

"...oh." Once Orihime had healed herself and taken the cast off, she sat up in bed. "...are you going to forbid me from doing anything?" Clearly she figured out that she couldn't say no to Chizuru, and would of course back out of the fight if told to.

"Hardly," Chizuru snorted. "It's clear a lot's at stake, so you're going to have to contribute what you can, assuming you're willing. Seeing as I'm already involved, I'm gonna do what I can too... I already have a certain tool at my disposal, maybe I can give myself some superpowers..." she mused. She then looked square at Orihime, and said, "I'm going to need you to get all the information you can about these... Soul Reapers, and how Ichigo became a Substitute one..."
