What's her reply?
She Drives Me Away
"Get out! Nothing happened. Give me some damned privacy." Her words are like daggers.
I quickly retreat from her room, and head back downstairs. No telling what she was up to, but her disrespect cuts deep into my soul. I retake my place on the couch to hear loud music coming from her room, shaking the old family photographs on the walls. I look over at one, a photo of a vacation we took as a family years ago. My wife, gorgeous as ever, Sarah and myself looking happy, smiling. The bass rumbles, and the photo falls off the nail, the glass breaking on the floor.
I get up, clean up the shards, and look at the photo. What happened to my little girl? How did things get so out of control?
The music keeps blaring, a constant reminder of the burden living in my house. I love her more than life itself, but this can't keep going on. She's out of control, and she needs to be put back in her place. I just don't know how I would even approach such a wild beast of a girl at this late stage.
