Zach now knew Sylvia would believe whatever he said no matter what. "Ms. Munro, I have to tell you something. I'm not a pool-boy. I'm an undercover FBI agent."
"Really? What are you doing here?"
"You're in danger."
Syliva gasped. "How? Why? What's going on?"
"I can't tell you right now, but you must do what I say to save your life. I want you to get dried off and go to the bank. Empty all of your accounts and put them in a check made out to me. Then take all of you jewelry to a pawn shop and sell them. Don't negotiate, just take whatever they offer. Then sell your car. Again, don't negotiate. Take whatever offer they give you and have the check made out to me. Got all of that?"
"Yes, but I'll be broke."
"No you won't. You'll be provided for. Now I'll be back at 7 pm. Dress like you're going out for a night on the town. We have work to do."
"I'm scared."
"You should be, but don't act like it, and tell no one, absolutely no one what you're doing or why: not family, not friends...no one. Got it? If you tell them, they'll be in danger too. Tonight, I'll...fill you in...on what the danger is, but for now, the less you know the better."
"Thank you so much. I'll get right on it." Sylvia went to get ready for her task.
Zach just smiled as he watched the soaking wet bitch walk off.
