Shaddy Warehouse

She stood under a streetlight, looking at the place she had been told to be.

The address written in the letter ended up leading The Lustful Demon to another side of town. More specifically, to an abandoned warehouse downtown, close to the docks.

That should have been a big enough red flag, but for someone as Modeus, who would either not notice or consciously ignore the obvious danger just for the thrills, it really didn't matter.

Receiving sketchy invitations, being called to secluded places, by complete and utter strangers who no doubt didn't have the nicest intentions... If anything, it all felt just like home to her.

Regardless, she wasn't going to get anything by standing were she was, so she made her to the decrepit building.

The sliding doors weren't even locked, so she didn't even bother to knock on then. Still, she decided to slowly crack it open, just to be safe.

As she did it, she saw more and more of the inside, as the street lights outside entered. From what she could see, it was mostly barren, with only a few large containers, tables and left over equipment.

Once the gap was big enough for her to squeeze herself through, she did exactly that.

Once inside, she did something that normal people would consider the dumbest move possible: she closed the door again, leaving the holes in the sealing from which the moon shone through as her only light source.

Again, she wasn't exactly one to act "normal", one of the reasons probably being that, compared to other demons, there wasn't anything humans could do to her that could be considered life threatening.

So, without thinking about anything else, she ventured further into the darkness...

Completely unaware of the fact she wasn't alone.

That is, until she feels something...
