Secret rendezvous

“Oh I can take them” you replied, trying to act casual as you held out your hand to accept the keys.

Either Grace now suddenly trusted the two of you or her mind was solely focused on the shopping that she was doing, the second option sounding a lot more likely, but she gave you the keys without any hesitation.

“Alright I’ll meet you both at the car in a few minutes” Grace said, patting Emma’s shoulder briefly and giving you a quick smile as she walked passed.

Grace headed towards the checkout and the both of you stood there in surprise and watched her before it became clear that she was actually letting you both go, something neither of you expected to actually happen.

“Okay, quick you really have to tell me what happened!” Emma urged, grabbing your arm and dragging you out of the store before you had the sense to move.

Emma navigated back to the entrance you had come through and you were at the car quicker than you would have expected. She unlocked the doors and opened one to the back before getting inside, crawling over the seats so you could get in behind her and giving you a great view of her ass in the process.

A part of you wanted to spend the time you had alone doing everything Grace was probably worried about the two of you doing but you tried to put yourself back into a more serious mood as now would be a good time to catch Emma up and get everything you wanted to do done.

“Okay so first off, it worked. I got to see everything you were looking at, even the glimpses at your mom which I’m very thankful for” you said once you had closed the door behind you.

You watched Emma light up but you still had a lot more to say, letting some of her excitement rise up before you continued.

“I could also hear everything as well and it wasn’t just from where I actually was either, oh and I was still conscious so we don’t have to worry about that, just that It takes a bit getting used to and I don’t think I’ll be walking around using it all the time” you continued, watching Emma light up even more.

“And finally, we won't be able to test this for another 24 hours but there was an option specific to you. I can’t show you the description but basically I can choose an option to make you aware that I’ve activated the power. I didn’t wanna use it this time in case it freaked you out while with your mom but it was an option for any subject who was aware of the KDK, so basically just you” you explained.

The surprises kept coming for Emma and you got to watch as each new piece of information made her think of all the different possibilities that you could both use this on.

The KDK was something you had but at this point you didn’t even really consider Emma to be like a normal subject, more like a co-owner than anything else. A brief thought of all of your main 6 subjects being able to use it to their own benefit further down the line flashed through your mind but that was still far off from ever becoming a reality.

“So can we try it again or do we have to wait?!” Emma asked excitedly.

“For you, we need to wait 24 hours” you replied.

“No I mean for any subject, I wanna see what they are doing!” Emma corrected, hoping you could catch a glimpse of something you wouldn’t normally see.

“Well… the queue that Grace was in looked pretty long so I think we have time to check one other person before we see what my father has been getting up to. Any preference on who?” you questioned, wondering who she wanted to see the most.

Emma seemed to have been stuck on viewing the other subjects that she only now seemed to remember what the actual reason you had bought the upgrade for but given that you had time, she perked up again and gave it some actual thought as to who she wanted to watch.

“Did your family say they were doing anything while we were gone?” Emma asked, wanting to confirm what you might potentially see.

“I think my Mom, Sarah and Lucy were planning on doing a ‘girl’s night in’ but that won't be until later if you wanted to spy on that” you remembered, the specifics of the conversation previously not coming to mind.

“Rebecca it is then. Oh! You were texting her about underwear with us on Friday. You can ask her for proof that she isn’t wearing any and see what she actually does” Emma suggested, getting excited all over again about what could potentially happen.

The texting with Rebecca now seemed like such a minor part of the day yesterday but thanks to Emma remembering it, you ended up getting excited alongside her.

Max: I hope you are keeping your promises

You texted cryptically, Emma watching over your shoulder until you saw the checkmark to see that she had read it.

“Alright I’m gonna try it now. I’ll hold my phone but you might need to text back for me” you told Emma, coming off your messaging app and going back to the KDK, and then Rebecca’s profile.

No additional notification popped up like it did with Emma and like before, you felt a pull from within you and were instantly able to see through Rebecca’s eyes, the sensation still unfamiliar to you as you were now literally looking at something happening in real time from miles away.

“Are you okay?” Emma asked, seeing something from your reaction that made her question how you were doing.

“I’m good. I think it will take a lot more attempts to get used to this… Did anything stand out when it did it?” you asked back, taking a moment to take in what you were seeing from Rebecca’s perspective.

“Nothing too noticeable. Just that you made a funny expression. Anyway, what can you see!?” Emma answered, giving you some relief given that you couldn’t exactly view yourself when you switched views.

You refocused on what you were seeing through Rebecca and you saw a room you had never seen before. From the way she lay down casually on a sofa, you assumed it was her apartment and you finally got to see at least a part of where she lived.

“Well it looks like she’s at home and she does have her phone in her hands” you relayed to Emma, knowing she wanted more details than you were currently giving.

The one thing you couldn’t see was Rebecca’s facial expressions and as she stared at her phone with your latest message still there at the bottom of her screen, you wondered how she was going to react next now that you for sure knew she had read it.
