Letting out a sigh of resignation that felt like it could be heard for miles, Weiss decided to bite the bullet and ask Ruby for help. Any hit to her pride she felt from asking Ruby for assistance would be nothing in comparison to being seen naked by other people. She was an heiress for goodness sake! Daughter of the CEO to one of Remnant's highest grossing businesses and she had a reputation to uphold! If word reached her family about how she had to complete initiation butt-naked, it would be the end of her. Forget about hiding herself away from the personal embarrassment her social status would suffer, her father would lock her up in her room at Schnee manor and never allow her to leave as punishment for shaming the family.
That was something she refused to let happen.
"Ruby?" Weiss called out to her partner, already feeling as if her life was draining away before even saying anything else.
"You done yet?" came the innocent reply, the red-clad girl still completely unaware of her partner's nudity.
"I am going to tell you something important and ask you for a huge favor." the words reluctantly left her mouth as she began to 'rip off the band-aid'. "Do this for me and keep it secret, and I'll entirely forgive you for yesterday's incident. We'll act as if nothing happened, and start our partnership off with a clean slate."
"Really?!" the excitable girl cheered as she spun around to stare at the tree that Weiss was taking cover behind. "You can count on me, partner! Whatever the problem is, I'll give it my all to help you!"
"... Behind this tree, I am completely naked."
There was a pregnant pause shared between the two girls, Weiss still not believing she admitted to Ruby that she had not a scrap of clothing on her, and Ruby struggling to comprehend what was said to her, the absurdity so great that her mind went blank.
"What?"
"I said," Weiss started to speak through gritted teeth. "I am completely naked right now."
"... What?" Ruby responded once again, still not understanding the reality of the situation.
At this point, Weiss was beginning to lose patience as well as grow colder from the breeze that caressed her nude form, so she clarified. "I! AM! NAKED!" she shouted, a little louder than intended.
"Naked, nude, bereft of clothing, dressed in my birthday suit, bare-assed, not a stitch of cloth on my body, all my bits on display, privates exposed for all to gawk at!" she started listing off in anger, trying to get the point across to Ruby so she would help. "I had to pee so I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and the grimm snuck up on me and I thought I dodged properly but it managed to claw at my clothes and now they are a shredded mess!"
"..."
"..."
Weiss immediately realized she didn't need to mention the part about her peeing, but her anger just let the words spill from her mouth.
"Eww, is that what that puddle is?" Ruby asked as she stepped away from the patch of wet dirt next to her.
"RUBY!" Weiss shouted, trying to get Ruby to stay focused on the task at hand. "Help. NOW!"
