Science Lab

      Mai excited the lift and entered the corridor. She could already hear others in her graduating class going about their business and working diligently on whatever task was assigned to them. Stepping through the door, and not seeing her Senior Officer about, Mai walked over to one of the stations and pretended as if she was working hard the entire morning. 

      Working in the science lab was often a boring task, but every now and then some new discovery of life, or a new species crossed their path and made things interesting. Today was one of those days, and Mai was sure that her Senior officer was probably somewhere writing a preliminary report on her analysis of some bacteria or something. 

        Mai decided that she should probably get to work doing something. She could probably analyze some bacterial spores, or maybe get her hands on a newly discovered creature
