Science, but not the fun kind

As John made it to his normal seat in Chemistry, a slight sigh left his lips. Although he knew it was for the best, John did wish another pervy Nazi or something similar would attack the school so he could test out his new skills in a real combat situation. Sure, he almost died fighting Moira, but that was an accident that neither of them expected. A real fight he would expect to be killed and could better prep himself to stop it. Alas, he was instead stuck in Chemistry with Dr. Pale. He was a chemist from Africa with a thick accent that made his lectures quite frustrating at times. Despite him being a doctor in chemistry, he enjoyed teaching to both college and high school level students. So when he asked to fill the vacant chemistry teacher position a few years back, the Academy hastily accepted a post-secondary education educator for their school. They quickly shifted a lot of advertising to heavily promote his joining the faculty.

John then noticed one of the few girls who he had a positive relationship score with, Anna Klein, walk by. She was a sweet girl that tended to get picked on by Vanessa and her herd of bullies she called friends. John figured she’d make a good test for the new Augment Body changes. So he opened the menu and saw he could now change anything from hair growth, to nail growth, to metabolism. While Anna may not be “sexy” in terms of runway models, she did have a nice, curvy figure. John figured he’d help her out and boosted her metabolism by 2%. He figured that would shave off some pounds, but still keep it in the more important parts that gave her that killer curvy figure.

John decided to check the chemistry book and he saw a new pop up appear.

Of course there would be crafting skills. But I’m a warrior, will alchemy work for me? Well, maybe I can create potions for healing or extra armor or something? Nothing wrong with having it I guess, John concluded and accepted the new skill, wiping blank yet another book. I do hope nobody notices that it’s my books that are suddenly becoming blank.

John opened his tab and clicked on his Alchemy skill. Another window appeared that listed all the things he could create, which was nothing.

“Huh, well that’s odd. Do I not get any beginning recipies?” questioned John.

Ok fine, I’ll give you some stat points to go with those from your level up you forgot to spend.

“You know, sometimes I don’t know if you love me or hate me. But I’ll take the points. So that puts me at 7. So I’ll throw 3 into endurance to get that to 20, 1 into wisdom to get that to 20. So I have 3 more. I got a bonus for libido at 25 and another for charisma at 25, so that'll most likely happen with my other stats. My libido is at 45 and that seems pretty damn high. If it's my highest stat will that make me want sex a lot? I have been thinking about it way more often than normal, even for me. Wisdom most likely counters my libido and should give me more stamina so I guess I'll put the last three there,” concluded John after planning out his new stats, "Ok, 2 more points in wisdom and I should get a bonus," John happily exclaimed. Asshole Goddess was right, though, and John decided to ask Moira about alchemy. They were allies after all, weren’t they? This would be a test to see if he could ask for things that may not have been explicitly stated in the agreement.

John spent the rest of class planning on what he should do next. He would slowly work on the panties quest as he found girls he could…persuade to fool around with or fuck. So that was not a problem. He had his free period next, so he might be able to get to see Mrs. Wentworth and get the reward for his completed quest.

He also needed to figure out which specialization to choose now that he could make barriers to train in. Templar seemed like it would be the most useful. In nearly every game the Templars were always masters of stopping enemy spell casters and could fend off melee attackers just fine. It also seemed to be the tankiest of the three specializations and would most likely require a shield, which he currently lacked. That would make being a Templar hard. Although there is always a chance he could get one through a quest or item drops. Berserkers sounded super fun. Gaining power through rage? Would probably mean he could do sick dps against enemies. But the way the specialization was worded seemed to be like he’d lose control. Did that mean he’d attack allies? Would he be able to quickly calm down or would he stay angry for a while? The last was Arms. This one was the master of weapons. What does that mean exactly? Does John gain knowledge and mastery of all weapons? Does he gain a bunch of weapons? What other skills could he even get? John couldn’t decide yet so he decided to put that on the back burner for now.

“Hmm ok, where should I train today? The park would probably give me plant and forest related mobs. There’s also the junkyard. Wonder what I’d find in there? Maybe the park? Wonder if that’d be the same as the forest though. What about one of the abandoned factories? I’ll have to experiment all around to see what I could get. Maybe Moira could give me some advice on where a good place to train is,” John concluded just as Chemistry ended. He got up and left, making sure to head directly to Mrs. Wentworth’s classroom to finally get his reward.
