Commander Shepard could not let the Xinkou fall into the hands of the Batarians, even if blown to pieces.

Commander Shepard raises his weapon, “I won’t give you the chance.” Loosing plasma shots into the Batarians, Kragar Besh’geth lie dead on the floor. Explosion rock the vessel, though Shepard grabbing the Omni Tool from Besh’geth corpse, turns off the rest of the bomb.

Making sure if any of the hostages survive, Shepard and her crew locate the Hostage, but as they enter the room. Only chucks of meat and viscus red liquid stained the room.

The Xinkou and Normandy escape from the Batarian space. Shepard made her report to Admiral Hacket reporting her choice to save the Xinkou over the crew .

“Though the loss of the crew is regrettable, you did what you thought was best. Saving the Xinkou was admirable and a needed boost to the morale of the Alliance.”

“I trust that you made the best choice for the situation. Hacket out.”
