Sarah does

Sarah had been the quietest one throughout the entire meeting which meant you were the most surprised when she started to speak up.

“I-I have something to suggest?” she asked, slowly gaining confidence as she continued.

“I think we should be able to reverse rules if everyone except the one who originally suggested it, thinks that it wasn’t a good idea. I assume for some things, we will only know if it's a bad idea once we have a chance to try it out” Sarah pointed out, getting a nod from you as you didn’t see any issues with her suggestion.

“Okay, so with Sarah’s suggestion out there, she can start a vote if she wants. If you do then just do the exact same process as I did and we can go from there” you said, giving her a gentle smile and urging her to carry on.

“Alright everyone can close their eyes… And put your hand up if you agree” Sarah declared.

You did as she said and closed your eyes before raising your hand. You didn’t expect many situations where a rule reversal would actually apply but if it gave everyone else a bit of comfort then you weren’t about to try and get in their way. There were probably even some ways that you could use it to your advantage in the future but you didn’t have time to ponder them before Sarah started to speak again.

“Okay, you can open your eyes” she announced, revealing that everyone was in favour of Sarah’s addition.

Mom gave Sarah a small smile in agreement while Lucy still looked a bit pissed off that she couldn’t run off a list of questions that she still wanted to ask Mom.

“Good, anyone else got something they wanna add? We can always have another one of these meetings in the future if something pops in your mind later so there's no immediate rush” you said, seeing that both Mom and Lucy were drawing a blank.

You saw no objections to the idea of future meetings and were glad to see that slipping that in towards the end had gone under the radar. More meetings meant more potential rules you could try and enforce while slowly tightening your control over the family to create the harem of your dreams.

“Now, as I said before, I’m willing to be open about everything going on in my life at the moment and although I’m choosing to do this, I don’t want anyone else to try and **** others to do the same so… Without further ado, feel free to start asking away” you announced, relaxing back into your chair now that the hard part of the meeting was over.

At first, everyone seemed to look at each other to figure out who was going to go first but seeing the stalemate, Mom decided to be the one to start asking as she brought up her question from earlier.

“How did your date with Emma go?” She asked, with a glint in her eye.

“It went well. We went to the park and then a cafe. Did a lot of talking while we were there and then I took her home. I presume Grace doesn’t know the specifics of what happened yet unless Emma has told her so I’d appreciate everyone letting one of us break the news first.” you answered, trying to give as much relevant detail as you could.

“What did you talk about then?” Mom asked again.

“A bit of everything really. School, Jobs, day-to-day stuff and yes a bit of flirting” you explained, leaving out the bit about Grace's photo being the cause of that flirting.

You could see Mom get giddy at that revealed fact and you braced yourself for the next onslaught of questions.

After that, everyone seemed to pile in and things got a bit more chaotic as you tried to answer all three of them. You told them about your choice of career now that you had given it more thought and made sure to mention scholarships to give Mom less to worry about financially. You planned on hopefully paying for it yourself but Mom would probably not accept it if you revealed that to her now. After career options, you went through other topics just like you had when you went out with Emma earlier but the conversation seemed to turn back towards your romantic life once again.

“Does Emma know about the deals you have made with all of us?” Sarah asked, causing Mom and Lucy to become quiet as they waited for your answer.

“She's not aware of the details but she does vaguely know that something is going on. She has said she's fine with it and I have no reason to believe she's lying or that she would ever tell anyone else so there should be no issues from her” you replied, continuing to tell the truth.

“And have you done anything similar with her?” Mom said jumping in, putting more thought into Emma than the fact that another person was aware of your group secret.

“Nope. We kissed at the end of the date but other than that there hasn't been much” you said.

You tried to not reveal certain details to them while also making sure you still told the truth. The fact that you had seen Emma naked while she was invisible in front of Grace would be hard to explain so you kept that part to yourself. The KDK also never came up as… well, there were no questions they could feasibly ask in order to bring it up. The fact that your new app actually existed would take a very large leap in logic for them to ever suspect something.

You were planning on revealing it eventually but having them further under your control when you did so would probably be for the best. Looking back on it now, Emma took it surprisingly well given the circumstances, which only made you smile even more when you considered how much she must have put her trust in you.

“So do you love her?” Sarah asked, detecting a hint of frustration in her voice that you hadn’t picked up on before.

“Yeah I think I do” you said, carefully watching Sarah so you could see how she reacted.

“You think?” she replied, sounding even more annoyed than before.

“Well yeah. I’ve had a crush on her for years but we only started going out this morning. I think she's amazing and I feel like she's the one but… “ you heatedly replied back, failing to find the right words to defend your own feelings.

“But what!?” Sarah shouted, making you pause in your response.

“I don’t know! I’m in love with her okay? Are you happy now?” You angrily answered back.

Sarah stared at you and you did the same, both of you waiting for the other to back down.

“What’s gotten into you two?” Mom asked, trying to figure out what the problem was.

This seemed to annoy Sarah even more as she sprung out of her chair and rushed off towards the stairs. You had no idea what had caused her to get this angry but your own feelings were starting to cool down. You heard her stomp towards her room and considered if it would be best to go after her.
