Salmon galore: Ln'eta is amused

Ln'eta twitches while her eyes focus on Blair. Two of her tentacles curl up in disgust and her hands move to cover her breasts. "I've never been stared at so lewdly by someone I just met. I request that you stop that at once!" Her eyes look at Ellinor, filled with desperation. Looking to garner any sympathy she can from her. "Help?" Ellinor looks at Blair who grins while looking back at her. She looks at Ln'eta then shakes her head. "I'm sorry, Ln'eta. I am certain my intervention would only make matters worse."

She looks at Blair, biting her bottom lip. "I would love it if she looked at me like that." She turns her attention back to Ln'eta. "I know you don't feel that way for her now, but. Mm, when she looks at me like that. Well, I know it's corny, but. It makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the world. ♥" Her cheeks turn light pink. Ln'eta's expression softens and her head tilts slightly to the right. Her hands gently overlap and rest just below her crotch. Her arms gently press her breasts together, making them jiggle a little after they swell. "Aww, aren't you just adorable? Blair is lucky to have you in her life."

Ellinor blushes, biting her bottom lip while looking at Blair. "I feel like I'm the lucky one." Blair couldn't believe what was happening. 'I didn't expect them to bond over Ellinor's feelings for me.' Although it was unexpected, she was touched by their words. She looks into Ellinor's eyes as a soft smile crept upon her own lips. "Ln'eta's right. I am lucky to have you in my life." Caesar softly barks, trying not to be left out of the conversation. They all giggle but only Blair speaks. "I'm lucky to have you in my life too."

She tilts her head with a crack and cracks her knuckles. "All right. I'm going to start cooking. Any requests?" She glances at Ln'eta then Ellinor and Caesar. Ln'eta's tentacles' tips wiggle a little with excitement and anticipation. "Any seafood would be lovely." Ellinor chuckles as she looks at the bucket of salmon. "I prefer my salmon baked or glazed with honey or brown sugar." Caesar softly barks, his tail wagging slowly. He is simply happy to be a part of the conversation. Blair nods slightly. "Got it."

She picks up the obsidian kris dagger and the bucket of salmon fillets then walks into the kitchen to start preparing. Ellinor escorts Ln'eta over to the table to sit and talk. Caesar stays by Ellinor's side, giving Blair all the space and time she needs to focus on the task at hand. She thinks carefully about what she wants to cook for them while carefully deboning the salmon after cleaning the dagger. 'I should have asked for them to debone these...' She lets out a soft sigh. However, while she worked, she thought of five recipes she had seen online.

The first that came to mind was Salmon Crudo, an Italian dish of raw salmon drizzled with a sauce or dressing. This appetizer recipe uses sushi-grade salmon, extra-virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, small capers, fresh dill, fresh minced chives, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, and topped with lemon wedges. This would make for a great starter and would give her more time to cook the other dishes. The bad news was she didn't know if she had to buy the ingredients or if she could pour in more mana to make up the difference.

Her mind goes into a meditative state while preparing the salmon for the different meals she plans to make. After twenty minutes of prep work, she smiles and puts down the dagger. "Everything's ready." A new skill notification appears in the middle of her view. 'Huh?' She begins to read it. Her pupils dilate due to surprise and excitement. 'What luck! This'll solve my current dilemma.' What made her most excited was the combining option afterwards. She simply couldn't believe her eyes.

She lets out a soft whistle while looking over the new skill. 'That is one awesome ability. Wait, it doesn't say it requires channeling. Does that mean I can use Meditate while cooking? Oo, if I'm right. That'll be broken as fuck!' As she starts on the Salmon Crudo, a small notification says it will cost her 18 Mp due to missing ingredients. She smiles and begins the process. Her hands move easily and quickly to prepare the food in the way she wants. It was almost unreal.

As she works, she begins to think of the other four dishes she plans to make. Once this was complete, she would begin on the Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon. That recipe needs brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and ground black pepper. Next would be the Deep Fried Salmon which requires light soy sauce, granulated white sugar, salt, Worcestershire sauce, all-purpose flour, and cooking oil. It looked delicious when she saw the results online. Following that would be Baked Salmon.

The recipe asks for sprigs fresh rosemary, small lemons, extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, ground black pepper, and cloves garlic. Extra herbs could be added to that one if desired. Last, but not least is Smoked Salmon Roast Salmon. This recipe calls for salt, ground black pepper, cayenne, melted butter, freshly chopped dill or tarragon, thinly sliced green onions, and lemon, cut into wedges. Once the Salmon Crudo is ready, she takes it to the table for Ln'eta and Ellinor to enjoy. "This is the appetizer. I'll have plenty more for you to enjoy shortly."

Ln'eta and Ellinor look surprised but excited before digging in. They moan softly when the food touches their tongues. Ln'eta's tentacles quiver in delight. "Mm, this is delicious! ♥" Ellinor nods in agreement. "So good! ♥" Blair smiles while walking back to the kitchen. However, once she arrives, she decides that she doesn't want to wait to create the other four dishes. To accomplish this, she increases the amount of mana she puts into it. By the time all is said and done, it costs her a whopping 400 Mp to create every dish instantly.

She hits accept, consuming her mana and the ingredients to create a impressive amount of food. Ellinor and Caesar sniff the air. He runs over and begins sniffing the different dishes. Blair chuckles. "You may have one." He licks his chops hungrily while staring at a plate with Smoked Salmon Roast Salmon. She gently blows on it before setting it down for him to enjoy. After which, she takes the remaining food over to the table, using her inventory to take it all in one trip.

She notices that the appetizer is already gone. She chuckles. "I see you both were quite hungry." Ln'eta and Ellinor nod. Blair sets down a plate in front of each of them before beginning to unload her inventory. Soon filling the table with food. Ln'eta starts to chuckle. "Goodness me. I can't eat this all by myself!" Ellinor grins. "Good thing I'm here to help." She playfully winks at Ln'eta who giggles in return then says. "Aww, you're right. Thank you. ♥" Blair sits down with them and smiles. "I will also be joining."

Ln'eta look at Blair. Her tentacles gently tap against one another. "Good. Everything looks so good. It would be a shame if you didn't join us." Blair looks at the different dishes. They all looked good. They began eating, enjoying each of the dishes. While they were all having a good and enjoyable time, she began to wonder which dish Ln'eta enjoyed the most and which of her requests would be chosen by Ln'eta. Which dish will Ln'eta enjoy the most? Which request will be chosen by Ln'eta?
