Sako finds out the truth

Alright, alright, for a moment I thought you were a spy or something, in moments like this one can't never be too careful. Said the boy.

I don't know what you're talking about but I told you what you wanted, now let me go. she plead.

The boy made a hand gesture and the other kids released sako free, she got in her feet a and shook off the dirt from her clothes.

Are you sure you're not a spy, right? Said the boy raising an eyebrow.

Spy? Spy of who or what? I just wanted to know about those strange shades I saw last night, and you guy attacked and threatened me like a bunch of maniacs! she said a little upset by what she had gone through a few moments ago.

We're sorry. said the boys. it was nothing personal, we didn't wanted to do this but we had to, please for give us, please don't hold grudges against us. then all of them bowed after said that.

Sako that was not cruel or hatefully forgave them right away, what's done it's done anyways, maybe now that their worries have dissipated she could find out something about the shades, she was intrigued by what connection do these boys have with them. okay, anyways it's not the worst that has happened to me this morning, what's so important about those shades anyways? she asked.

We can't tell you, it's a secret. said the boss of the kids

What kind of secret is that? It can't be something like a life or dead thing, come on, tell me, then I'll tell you more things about the city. she said.

_We'll be glad to hear more about the city, but still it's a secret. _said the boss of the boys

Sako, was not in the slightest satisfied with their responses, why Is this secret something so "secret" ? _Maybe we can make a deal, there must be something I can give you that's worth your secret. _she said .

The boys made a circle and started to chat among themselves, after a while the boss kid walked to sako and said. sorry but even with things like that we can't tell such information to no one outside our crew.

Sako's curiosity grew more because of the boy's resistance, what was so important that they're hiding it so firmly? She was going to do anything to find out the truth.

_Why don't you let me join your crew? _she asked.

I_f you want to join us you gotta make the pact. _said the boy.

The boy started to explain to her what the pact is about that was basically a blood pact where someone had to promise that he's going to tell no one about the crews plans and is willing to help them in any way possible in order to help them get their objective.

Sako didn't like to promise things because she was a woman of word and in the past having to fulfill her promises have gotten her in trouble,but anyways did it without any delay, for most kids it maybe it was something hard to do because they were mostly afraid of blood but for an adult like sako it was just a meaningless thing to do in order to satisfy her curiosity.

After saying the last words of the pact sako let go of the boss kid hand. now, you're the shades. right? tell me where were you going last night.

Sako wanted to believe but it was just so incredible that there was no she could make it fit in her mind. Do those things really exist? All her childhood she had read myths featuring them but not a single moment she believed they could be something more than just stories, but those stories were old, people of that time allegedly had encounters with them frecuenlty but with the spreading of civilization the encounters became less and less frecuent, and the experiences turned into tales, and the tales in myths. Maybe they were always just myths to make people imagination wonder or maybe they could have been real creatures that hid themselves in mountains and unpopulated places where they could be undisturbed by advance of civilization.
