Joker whispered the name of one of his partners in crime. Sae nodded, watching him carefully.

"Sadayo Kawakami. Your homeroom teacher, among other professions, and, though you won't corroborate it, a potential accomplice to your activities as a Phantom Thief." Sae cleared her throat and straightened her back as she approached the main point. "Though in my investigation I've become aware of the... regrettable circumstances surrounding her part-time job, that alone doesn't even begin to explain how this happened. For a devoted teacher to wind up so exposed in public, and that she would keep her job afterwards, well.... Some people chalked it up to the Phantom Thieves changing her behavior. I heavily doubt it, but I do think you might know something about it. Am I correct?"

Joker took a moment before letting out a sigh and nodding,, his mind still fuzzy from the **** and trying to decide whether he felt more mortified or ecstatic about what his teacher had gone through. Finally, he spoke, his voice cracking slightly. "All right. This is how it began..."
