SSS:1980 Postgame Chat 2: The Sequel

OK, everyone. I think we have a plan. As many pointed out, if these changes don’t work out we can always change things back or something.

Thing 1: Let’s choose the next SSS. This poll is open to the public, not just Patrons.

Meanwhile, Patrons have the option to determine an important character trait of the new MC. Finally, Patrons at the discerning tier will have the option to choose how she looks. These polls will all be open for about 48 hours.

Thing 2: Chapter frequency. I’ve read the feedback, and we’re going to try 3 chapters a week. I will be aiming for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Chapters will receive a slight buff to length, but they won’t be book chapters like FFF. This will give a bit more of a window to get your vote in and receive points for it if you care about that.

Thing 3: Prizes. It sounds like readers want to have a grand prize again, so we will have that: something bigger that only one reader can get for a big achievement like guessing the killer first or having the single highest score or something. This prize would be something like a one-shot story of their choosing, or if the winner is an FSC fan, the option to choose which epilogue gets done next. Then I’ll offer the smaller kind of participation prize like nominations or multiverse chapters to several of the score leaders. Last question on this: do you want there to be a public scoreboard that I update as we go?
