SCP
The SCP Foundation was a secret government program designed to capture and detain mysterious entities found in the world, research them, and keep them a secret. These mysterious entities can sometimes be harmless and other times have the power to destroy the cities.
Most of the time, their more of an annoyance than a threat. Like the rubber duck that keeps duplicating nonstop, or the book that will send someone's mind to a fantasy world. To that person, dozens of years have passed while they went on an adventure while just a few minutes passed in the real world. Of course, there's sometimes some very perverted SCPs...
One day, Jess, one of the employees and researchers of the SCP Foundation, found a strange door in the hall. When opened, it led to an alternate SCP foundation in another world. One that was over-run by SCPs. She quickly altered her higher-ups.
They tried to destroy the door, not wanting any of the SCPs from the other world to break into theirs, destroy everything, and set their SCPs free. It didn't work. Even with the door gone, a portal to the other world still remained. So, they reinforced the door and started expanding their own facility and made it their mission to detain and research the SCP from the other world.
Not only could researching the new SCPs have them discover advancements in science, but if they can get the other SCP Foundation under control, they might learn what happened and prevent it from happening to themselves. Everyone was also curious about how the other world was. If it connected to SCPs they found in the past, like the globe with the continents in the wrong position, with specs of dots like cities that would constantly change shape.
Once the SCP Foundation was expanded enough, they promoted Jess. She was to be in charge of detaining and researching the SCPs from the other world.
