Rule34. The site that changed everything

The internet turned out to be a dangerous place. I was exposed to so many new things, ideas, topics and perspectives that challenged the small conservative upbringing I experienced growing up with a single mom, mostly being raised by my strict grandma.

A very very long story short I found Rule34 and was honestly offended, hurt, and even slightly traumatized to see some of my favorite heroines, like Raven from Teen Titans, Korra from Avatar, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Ahsoka from Star Wars, and heroes from Overwatch like Pharah and Symmetra depicted in images or graphic videos with white men.

Even in the rougher or more abusive depictions part of me wondered what it would be like to be in their place, to be the helpless property of a white man.

But I noticed the entire community, or the majority of the community on Rule34 pushed the untrue stereotypes of black guys, to the unfairness, exclusion, and intentional marginalization of the thoughts, opinions, interests or feelings of women of color.

As I began to contribute, uploaded artists work, making forum posts, adding naughty little lewd in-character or RP-based comments to certain images I loved, even going so far as to create a Discord account to join the Rule34 discord....

My experience was a constant battle. Receiving hateful messages, having my comments or forum posts deleted, images I uploaded reported and removed for racism. A constant uphill battle to squash and quiet my reality and very real interest and attraction to white men.

The more and more I explore my thoughts and feelings, and fought these battles, the more I realized that while initially I had fetishized white men as this sort of hung alpha Dom who would fold me up like a pretzel, and then beat and breed me like in the explicit videos I'd watch on Kink.com...

But it became more than that. Much more...

Over the two years I was active on Rule34, society went crazy with all the things that happened between 2019 and 2021. (Wont talk about that here or now, but I think you all know what I mean)...and the pressure was put on even more, to the point where I was banned from Rule34 and kicked from their discord.

I had received plenty of racist messages before, some outright using the hard slurs I found so offensive! There was so many new situations and thoughts I was exposed to after putting myself out on the internet, but when I received your message, and read the first line I already hated it!

Hated you! Hated how you assumed things about me, hated your whole attitude of superiority.

But you used a word no one else had, and even indented it with a little '>' symbol as if to emphasis that word over the rest.

Tamed...

I had no idea what that meant.

But I had to find out.
