Robin uses her magic to go on the offensive

Robin knew she would need to do something clever to get a leg up in this fight. Luckily, her magic wasn't limited to simple flares and fireworks. As the next volley of darts flew around her, Robin lowered her blade. She began focusing her energy on releasing a pulsing wave of magic radiating outward from her body.

Like before, the spell was simple enough. The wave would just apply a minor outward push toward anything entering its parameter. It wasn't an actual shield, just enough of an impact to disrupt incoming projectiles, like the darts fired by the agents. With the extremely light weight of a blowpipe dart, the spell should be enough to make her practically invincible to their ranged attacks.

With her defenses active, Robin set about locating her attackers. The most recent flare was just fading not far to her left, but Robin didn't have time to decipher whether it was her own or a distraction before bolting in that direction. She was confident that her barrier would prove a perfect defense, and it probably would have, if not for the disrupting concussive blasts of the mage. They weren't powerful, but their **** was enough to push aside a small section of the barrier, creating a limited window where Robin was completely exposed from a different angle with each blast. As the barrier was invisible, none one could tell, but all it would take was one lucky shot.
