The Mage distracts Robin

The agents pressed their ****, attacking Robin from a variety of angles, their swords ready in case she managed to close the gap, while the one mage worked fast to cast distraction spells, throwing out small bursts of light and fireworks to distract Robin, mixed with the occasional minor concussive spell intended to disorient her, or perhaps knock her sword out of the way. Numerous darts flew through the air, another volley targeting multiple areas of her body and from all directions.

Robin's eyes narrowed as the mage's fireworks mixed with her own tracking spells. It was a clever choice, severely limiting the effectiveness of her own spell with their own countermeasures. Of course, Robin was more than capable of distinguishing between her own spells and the bursts of light cast by the enemy mage. Doing so with so many spells flashing up around her all at once, however, was no simple matter. The addition of repeated volleys of darts flying at her from every which way only made the process of identifying the enemy's distracting flares even more difficult.

Meanwhile, the abrupt, flashing lighting caused by so many light spells going off at random around her had mixed effects on Robin's ability to block the incoming projectiles. On the one hand, it was definitely easier to block them when the sparks of magic lit them up. On the other, the constant blinking made it near impossible for her eyes to readjust to the darkness, making each dart fired during the brief moment's of blackout between flares practically imperceptible. With the additional small concussive bursts to disorient Robin, blocking every dart simply wasn't an option. She would need another tactic.
