Ring of Words

This ring was created by a witch who enjoyed giving her victims a subtle hint just before their transformation.

To activate it, the wearer first spins the ring once around their finger, then thinks of the target and names the transformation. The ring was designed so that the transformation cannot simply be stated in isolation; instead, one must speak normally and simply place emphasis on the name of the transformation.

For instance, one wearer activated the ring during an argument with a friend and eventually said, "You know what? You're acting like 'a little bunny'." Moments later, with a puff of smoke, her friend turned into a tiny baby bunny.

Additionally, every new wearer automatically receives a brief introduction to its use. Now, the ring has ended up somewhere, waiting for a new owner.
