What do you do?
Ride to the gym with Ted
Although you're sure you will live to regret it, you could use a workout to relieve some of your stress. Besides, more flirting with a hunk like Ted could do your ego good. Even if he is grabbing your ass.
"Alright, Ted," you say. "Let me get a little more work done and then I'll go to the gym with you."
"Right on," says Ted and gives your firm butt a final squeeze.
You depart the coffee machine and get back to work. You make some progress, but after hours of staring at those spreadsheets you would go do push-ups with Paul Lindo, the dumpiest guy in the office. Anything to get away from the screen and the stacks of books. The thought of the refreshing sight of Ted in his workout clothes makes your tummy flutter. You can't wait to see his butt in a pair of gym shorts.
Ted meets you in the lobby fairly promptly and you grab your gym clothes from the trunk of your car before joining him at his Lexus. He even opens the door for you like some semblance of a gentleman. That semblance disappears as soon as you are both in the car. He reaches across the center console, taking you by the arm and practically smothering you with a kiss. You're so surprised that even if you wanted it - and you're not sure on that - you still would have pushed him away.
"What are you doing?" you demand.
"Getting a little sugar before we get going." Ted shrugs off your outrage.
You start to say something else and he turns on the radio, tuning in to local political talk radio. It's exactly the sort of thing you hate, but Ted seems to love it. You try not to listen, staring out the window of the Lexus and wondering what, if anything, you're willing to do with a sleazy frat boy like Ted. What if he comes onto you more once you're at the gym? You knew he was going to do this when he was grabbing your ass in the office. After years of being ignored by your spineless husband, maybe you just want a man to really take charge. Even thinking that makes you feel like a traitor to your feminist beliefs, but it makes sense.
"Here we are," announces Ted, wheeling the Lexus into the parking structure adjoining the glass-sided slab of the Bodyworks building. You can see men and women running on treadmills through the tinted windows. The lobby is all light hardwoods and brushed metal. It's all very posh. The trainers are attractive and extremely fit and dressed in glove-tight workout clothes that show off their impressive physiques. Ted signs you in as a guest and clearly knows several of the female trainers.
As you head towards the locker areas to change into your workout clothes a handsome, olive-skinned man with a preceily-trimmed dark beard, long nose and full lips calls out to Ted. He is wearing a shimmering burgundy suit that looks custom-tailored. They exchange excited greetings and hug before Ted introduces you.
"This is Angelos," says Ted. "He is a frat brother of mine. He's the wild one."
"Rebecca Chase," you say, offering him your hand. You wonder if Angelos was the one who bought Ted the fraternity tie he is wearing.
"A pleasure to meet you," says Angelos, shaking your hand with a firm grip. "Ted was the wild one, though. I could tell you many stories."
"But you're not going to," says Ted, and although he is laughing there is a certain seriousness to the way he cuts Angelos off. "So are you here to work out?"
"I was going to get changed and play basketball, would the two of you like to join me?"
Ted agrees on your behalf. Although you're not very good at basketball, you know you can get a good workout at least. You separate and get changed into your yellow and white skin-tight workout capris and your matching sports top. It feels good to take off the stockings and lose the heels in favor of the cross trainers. You tie back your hair into a ponytail and join the boys in the baketball gym. A few men are already shooting on the basket, their shouts echoing in the vaulted space and their shoes squeaking on the court top.
"Very sexy," says Ted as you approach. You feel your face heat up a little as Angelos and Ted watch you jog up to them.
Ted and Angelos are pretty easy on the eyes too. Ted is dressed similarly to you, in a purpose-made workout outfit that clings to his physique. It, like yours, is also obviously chosen to show off a good body. In Ted's case his bulging upper body and washboard abs. Angelos is wearing an old Kobe Bryant jersey and a pair of loose shorts, not nearly as revealing, but his long limbs are corded with muscles and his big, expressive face and almond-shaped eyes are a good counterpoint to Ted's midwestern good-looks. You have a brief flash of being caught between the two of them on a bed and then you put it out of your mind.
"Let's shoot some hoops," you say.
After some fooling around with shooting and passing the ball, you and Ted and Angelos end up in a three-on-three against three other guys. At first the other team takes it easy on you because you're a woman. Eventually, they realize that Ted and Angelos keep using you to get close to the basket and then pass it to them for the shot, and the other team stops playing nice. You make some decent shots and in the end your team wins. Drenched in sweat, out of breath, you hunch over at the sidelines. Ted comes over to you.
"Good play out there," he says. He runs his hand down your sweat-soaked back, lower, to cup your ass once more. "I was thinking we still got some time. How about you and me in the hot tub? We can really relax in there. It's good for the muscles."
Yeah, one guess which muscle he's talking about specifically. You're too tired at the moment to be thinking about sex, but the idea of relaxing in the warm water does sound nice. Before you can answer, Angelos jogs over to you.
"That was a lot of fun," he says. "I think it would be even more fun if the three of us went to the steam room. There's nobody in there. It could be just like old times." He casts an odd look at Ted and Ted returns it. There is something going on between them. If you're going to find out, the steam room must be the place.
