Ria watched with a grin from outside the school. She did love loopholes... despite what she knew the Brothers had intended, she now got to witness Jaune seducing Emerald, and of course, with the Brothers bound to not do shit about it, she figured she would get away with it...

Still, she hoped the two were lazy enough to only check in once every decade or so to see if she was keeping her word. An amazing number of deities were that lazy. It would be incredibly annoying for... Once again, she was in the split void of white and black. ...for THAT to happen. Fuck.

Rolling her eyes, she turned to face the two brothers, one livid, the other stern and annoyed. "Did we, or did we not have a deal!?" the dark, younger brother bellowed. "Give us one good reason not to destroy Remnant right now!"

"Because that would be breaking your end of the deal, and I have yet to break mine," Ria snorted. The younger brother sputtered angrily.

"You... You have most certainly broken your end of the deal!" he roared, taking dragon form again, apparently forgetting he could do jack shit to Ria.

However, the elder, more level headed as always, though still rather manipulative, held a hand up to try to calm his younger, and turned a stern gaze on Ria. "You claim to have not allowed your herald to affect Salem's underlings, and yet he has clearly done so. Please explain how you believe that you have not broken the terms we laid out."

Ria huffed, but relented. "You only specified that I had to grant immunity to SALEM'S underlings," she explained. "The only one who Jaune has tried to affect that counts is Cinder, and as you should have noticed, he failed in that regard. As for Emerald and Mercury, they serve Cinder, for the moment, and as such, only serve Salem in an indirect manner. They don't even know she exists yet, their loyalties are to Cinder, and Cinder alone. Thus, they do not count. As for Trivia, or Neo as she likes to go by, she works for Roman, who in turn, also works for Cinder out of necessity. She also holds no loyalty to Cinder. In short, the three you are so pissed about do not count, so piss off."
