Today I woke up in bed with Kasey... Last night she had been frustrated enough and couldn't stand to watch me and little fish anymore. Kasey was seated in a chair leaning forward trying to spot them too.

I shook my head in dissapointment, until Kasey spoke up. "Hey, what's that?" I followed her finger and saw a speck on the floor that was... drifting.

It was blue, I almost missed it but some light bounced off it and it was obvious something was there. I moved the camera to focus on that spot as Little fish and Kasey squeezed in to look at the one computer on the bridge. Definitely should make more.

But all of us froze at what we saw. It wasn't a mermaid. But it was definitely another primitive. Unlike the mermaids it didn't have a lower body of a fish. Instead it had two legs, and out of the butt was a... sharks tail? It certainly had the fin shape for it at least. Its entire body was covered in scales, its back was a deep greenish blue and the chest and belly where white. Its head was shaped differently, with a certainly more shark like features.

Little fish started to say something but the translator seemed to have broken as she seemed to get more angry and... worried? She turned away leaving.

Kasey though tapped the now silent translator and shrugged before suggesting. "Why don't you use those fancy scanners and scan it." Right, yeah I can do that now without having to leave the submarine.

A button press later and I saw this new shark person, their feet were webbed, it seemed like they could walk on land but their gills and organs suggested they wouldn't be able to do so for long. A good 12 hours or so before having to wet themselves in the water. They required their gills to remain wet else they would dry up and ****.

"I'm worried about how little fish reacted, she obviously has seen them before, or at least knows of them." The scan was in the process of showing very shark like teeth in their pointed mouths.

This one... No this guy was dead. And has been dead a while. From the way his body floated just off the surface it was unclear what exactly killed him, but it was fairly obvious to the scanners. He must have gotten into a fight with the crabs or a lobster as most of his bones were broken.

I swiped away the scan results saving them to a yet unnamed file under the creature file as I pushed the autopilot back on course. "Well, nothing we can really do about it for now. Maybe you can ask her about it, I feel like any conversion with me is going to end up in bed."

She laughed lightly as she stood up. "You are right about that, we do tend to end up in bed with you eventually."
