Chapter 1579 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

What do you do?

Return to the ship.

You've given a heart-warming goodbye as you depart. Amara, Eva, Snow, and Rabbit's Foot sit back on the small boat while Niki rows, though as they go, you walk beside them right over the surface of the water is if it's nothing at all. In reality, you're practising. It's still strange to move on what feels like solid ground, yet rolls along with the tides. It's like stepping along a conveyor belt but you need to occasionally jump over bumps, and some are much taller than the rest. This would surely be a lot easier over a pool or a lake than the ocean. But that's why you want to get better.

"... So uhm," Eva mumbles as she stares at you from the boat. "Are we gonna just brush right over the fact that Kyle is water-walking?"

"Why are you surprised?" Niki asks. "He does a lot of stuff. I just stopped questioning it."

"She does have a point," Amara adds.

Snow tugs the mask down from her mouth and lets it hang around her neck. "If you were able to obtain a boon from Feli as well as Lepo, and it's my understand that you even gained a power from your Awakened Lauo, then if I had to guess, you were given this ability from the Lady of the Lake."

"I'm not even sure if she did it on purpose," you say. "But you're most likely right."

A rope ladder is cast down from the deck of the ship. One by one, you climb back up. All are glad to see you returned, but they're also equally eager to know what transpired. So you spend some time explaining the story, from the hydra to the so-called Dark Lady of Monsters, or Beastmistress of Medicine. It isn't a long tale, though it's an odd one. You're still not sure where she came from, but your glad you were there to stop her.

Bekram curls up against the mast nearby and sobs. "I didn't get to fight the hydra," he mumbles down to his chest.

"Listen, Bek," you reply. "If we find another hydra, I promise I'll save it for you."

He looks up. "You promise?"

"I promise."

Stax wanders over with a map unfurled in her hands. "Well, this trip should be pretty easy. Come on, Eva. I'll help you navigate this beauty to where it needs to go. Speaking of which, does this ship not have a name? Surely it's gotta."

Fava, back in her human-sized body again, nods in agreement. "It should. I mean, it's a marvellous vessel."

"Whatever it was once called, it's forgotten now," Vyzia explains. "And it should stay that way."

"Well, what about a new name?" Eva asks.

Niki ponders. "The Big Kyle."

Malakae scratches her head. "The what?"

Eva gasps. "I think your onto something."

"She is definitely not."

"How about the Kyle Warren?"

Niki crosses her arms. "That's too confusing. We won't know if anyone is talking about Kyle Warren, or the Warren Warren."

"Why does it have to be my name?" you ask.

Stax snorts. "What about Kyle's Big Deck?"

"Hmm. How about..." Amara ponders aloud. "The Sky Warren?"

"Huh. I like it," Niki comments.

Eva runs to the helm, and shouts as she goes. "Everyone brace yourselves! The Sky Warren is ready to sail! Raise the anchor. Unfurl the sails. Stax, guide our way!"

Vyzia eyes you over. "Your friend. She seems to be having a lot of fun with this."

"I don't think she's the only one," you reply.

Near the two of you is Lynx. She has her hand bend to resemble a hook, and she looks to the red dragon, who of course is still her eyepatch pal. "Yarr. What say ye, Dragon of the East? We pirates can't be stopped by any threat. Hydras. Crocodires. Especially not other pirates."

"... N-No. We cannot be."

Lynx jumps to give the dragon a high-five, which she awkwardly reciprocates.

What do you do?
