"I can't believe the Director let us keep the Fire Amulet," Ashley said.

The four young women of the Secret Club sat around in a circle in their tree house headquarters.

"I'm still pissed that this stupid Anti-Mind Watch ran out of battery," Sarah complained, "I'm still sore thanks to that."

"At least it worked when it did have battery," Sophie shrugged.

"The Director offered a deal with the Kitsune, I wonder what that was about," said Wendy.

"Can humans work with Cryptids?" Ashley asked nervously.

MEANWHILE...

Director Groan stepped into a locker room with Kitsune standing inside, dressed in S.M.U.T. tactical fatigues.

"You look good," Director Groan remarked.

"I don't feel good, this clothing is so bulky," Kitsune complained.

"Well, it'll be more useful than you think in our upcoming missions," Director Groan explained, "A darkness is coming, the peace of both of our worlds are in danger."

"You mean the Monster King?" Kitsune spoke.

Director Groan went silent.

"How are so sure I won't betray you as soon as I get my hands on your Ice Amulet?" Kitsune asked.

"Hmm, that's a good point," Director Groan said, "Say, what do you think about this being the second uniform you've tried on today?"

"Wh-what? What do you mean?" Kitsune asked, confused.

"Take a look at this for me," Director Groan pulled out his phone and showed Kitsune a video, to which she gasped.

"When did I-!?" she shrieked.

"Don't think you're the only one able to control others," Director Groan smirked.

Kitsune, not knowing how Director Groan was able to control her, felt completely defeated. When did ordinary humans get so strong? Perhaps, this director wasn't human?

"Oh one more thing before I go," Director Groan added, "I'm just trying to blow off some steam before I get back to work, I've got one more thing to show you."

He raised his phone to show Kitsune the mind control app, and watched her eyes change color as the hypnosis took effect.

"I think we're going to get along just fine," he grinned, unbuckling his belt.
