You place a comforting hand on Anastasia's shoulder before taking a deep, calming breath. "It's fine," you whisper. "Stay still and don't wander. I'll handle this one."

Then knowing you can't rely on sight for this one, you shut your eyes, take only a small step forward, and steady your breathing to a slow, gradual stop, until you're holding your breath in a completely silent chamber. All that's audible is the occasional drip of water which echoes out from afar. You tap deeply into your Kitty Sense in a manner more focused than before. You listen closely for any strange noises, or even scents that may be near, and you try to trigger some sort of response that may alert you to where she's currently waiting. You know shadri are exceptionally patient ambushers, however, so outlasting her is not an option.

You tap Anastasia on the side of her arm, gesturing her to follow, as you take another step. Then another. You're careful each time as to not cloud a hidden noise with the sound of your own footsteps. But then you notice something else. You may not have Lauo right now, though you've tapped into that power even without it a couple times. Invisible Ties may function as an unseen connection between you and those you care about, though your sword's original power was described much more simply as detecting arousal. With the abilities of your weapon, Invisible Ties, and Kitty Sense, and perhaps at this point in Abso, your own personal experience, you open your mind to another sense.

Another step takes you closer to the foot of the bed.

Quietly, within the focus of your mind, you suddenly feel a distant tingle. That must be it. You're sensing the hidden excitement the woman is feeling. Whether she excites easily, or it's the fact that she's being made to stare at your naked body, she's aroused, and you've locked onto it like a heat seeking missile.

Suddenly you throw your hand towards the direction of the chamber's opening into the grand, rainbow-lit cavern, and unleash the power stored within your ring.

The boom of thunder causes Anastasia to bounce in surprise. A crackle of lightning erupts from your ring, and it moves too quickly for anyone to dodge, especially one who couldn't fathom the idea of being caught by the likes of you. The electricity collides perfectly with its target. Being **** to move, the shadri appears, though the rapier slips from her fingers and she drops to her knees as the electrifying magic courses through her body. The garment she wears around her chest burns, falling to the ground in tatters to reveal her breasts in full. Bits of her hair poke up with singed tips. Then the band holding up her ponytail falls, causing her long head of hair to spill out. Her chest heaves up and down as she seems to be struggling to even remain conscious after that hit, though her attention fixates on you.

She looks either terrified or anger. You can't tell. Though soon, that strange expression shifts.

The corners of her lips gradually curl. She shudders. Partly, her tongue extends down over the lower lip, and what shines in her eyes is a surprising hunger. She sits back, and brings her arms together to squeeze together her tits, and you can then notice her perky nipples clearly stiff from some sort of excitement. She giggles, quietly at first, though then louder. "Y-Yes," she mutters quietly. Then she shouts, "Do it again, daddy!"

Anastasia steps back, cheeks like strawberries. "--What?!"

Once again the shadri shivers. "That was... so exciting," she whispers. "So good. I've never felt anything like that. So painful, but so energizing. I need more, p-please."

"I'm sorry to disappoint, but I don't have any more lightning magic," you admit. "But if you want, I can--"

She shakes her head violently left and right, as if forcibly pulling herself back to her senses. Then her eyes widen again, though this time with an expression of humiliation. She slowly stands onto wobbling legs, and then as if now self-conscious, pulls her hands up to place upon her bare chest. "Y-You will forget what I said!" she demands.

"Mmm. I don't think I can forget that adorable tone you used. Shock me, daddy. Shock me," you mock. "I'm sure I could get something for you, if that's what you desire."

"I didn't say that!" she screeches with a burning rage. Then with nothing else to say, she looks frantically left and right before running to the edge of the cliff. "I'll get you for that," she grumbles. "I swear it."

"And I'll bring more lightning magic next time."

She disappears from sight before her anger can boil over.

You run to the edge quickly, though you see nothing. She's nowhere to be seen.
