Resurrected on Krakoa

Kamala Khan woke up in a strange forest-like place and noticed a few things. First, that in front of her was the leader of the X-Men and (due to time travel shenanigans) a teammate and fellow founding member of the Champions, Cyclops. With him were five mutants in black and yellow uniforms she wasn’t really familiar with. Proteus: a glowing pink man. Hope Summers: a redheaded woman. Elixir: a golden man with golden hair. Eva Bell: a woman with black and white hair, and Miles’ old friend Egg, formerly known as Goldballs.

“What happened? Where am I?” Asked Kamala as she looked down and realized she was as bare as the day she was born. The nude Marvel let out a squeak as she quickly covered herself. “EEP! Why am I naked?”

Cyclops took a deep breath as he prepared to explain to his au natural ally. “Well, yesterday you kind of… died.”

“WHAT?!?”

“But you got better. Trust me, this happens a lot in the hero business.”

“I know, I just didn’t expect it to happen to me.”

“Few of us do. To answer your second question, you’re on the mutant nation of Krakoa!” Cyclops revealed.

“Wait, does this mean I’m a mutant?” Kamala asked her former teammate.

“No, that would be kinda ridiculous.”

Proteus chimed in. “Would be cooler than being an Inhuman, though.”

“Kevin, shut the fuck up,” Egg said harshly as he used Proteus’ real name.

Kamala, still nude and confused, meekly asked. “Um, do you have some clothes I can wear?”

“We have your mask and scarf,” Scott revealed as he handed the small bits of clothing to her.

“Thanks… I guess,” Kamala said as she put on her mask and wrapped her scarf around her chest

Scott proceeded to grab Kamala’s hand and quickly drag her to a portal as he explained. “I didn’t get the Council’s approval on this so you have to leave immediately.”

“What!?! You can’t be serious?!?” The nude Marvel protested.

“I’m terribly sorry about this but we’re running out of time. We got you a portal as quickly as possible to New Jersey, I think.”

“Wait can we talk about thi-” Kamala tried to argue before she was thrown through the portal in the nude.
