Results of a good day's work

Lex felt a tug on his arms as Divi and Sazla gazed upon him with an oddly worried expression upon their faces. Divi began pouting. "What's wrong daddy? You have a weird look upon your face." Sazla tilted her head slightly. "What are you looking at? I've only seen that expression before when something strange was about to happen." He blinked before realizing why they looked so worried. "Ah, right. I forgot to tell you. I've been doing all of this with a handicap of sorts. I am about to reveal the results of that effort."

Everyone seemed rather confused, especially Thistle. Thistle lifted a hand. "Would you mind explaining what this handicap was?" Lex chuckled while shaking his head. "I don't mind. To put it simply, I haven't been using any special items or equipment to help me fight. Just my raw abilities, skills, and of course those of my companions to win up until now." Thistle nodded slightly before his eyes widened. "Wait, you mean you could have done this faster!?" Lex nodded with a playful smile. "Yes, but doing it this way was for everyone's benefit. Not just my own."

Thistle still had a surprised look upon his face. "I was impressed by the fact that it could be done at all. But, being told it could have been done faster. Well, I'm simply flabbergasted." Lysossia, Gillia, Philinna, Divi, and Sazla started to laugh, but Chasan, Thistle, and Diniel all seemed to be a bit confused. Lex chuckled a little before smiling. "Well, not everything went as smoothly as it did with you, Thistle. However, I promise things will be better from here on out." Thistle nodded. "I see. Well, if what you say is true. I would imagine we're in for an interesting time." Chasan bit her bottom lip. "You are certainly an interesting man. I look forward to see what happens because of you, Lex." Her M score ticked up to 50.

Lex playfully smiled. "Honestly, I look forward to working with you all." Divi pouted and clung to his left arm tightly. "You have enough female attention, daddy. No fair adding more." Chasan blinked. "Hm? Who said I'm a girl." Everyone except for Diniel looked absolutely flabbergasted by this statement. "What!?" They almost all said at once. Chasan giggled. "I just happen to like wearing cute outfits like my sister, Diniel." Diniel giggled. "Doesn't he look cute?" She leaned over to hug Chasan gently from the side. "He's just so adorable. I couldn't say no."

Lex's eyes widened as he thought. 'Wait, does that mean that Chasan's clit size. No, wait. It's actually his dick size!?' Divi walked up to Chasan and lifted up his dress. She reached for his crotch and blinked after feeling it for a couple of seconds. "Yep, Chasan's a guy. Although that's one small dick. Hmm, or is it a big clit?" Chasan cried out, blushing deeply as his ears began to droop. "Oh no! Now I can't get married!" Diniel hugged Chasan tightly. "There there, that only applies to women." Chasan sniffled as he leaned against Diniel. "Really, sis?" Diniel nodded. "You know I wouldn't lie to you."

Thistle started to walk away. "Nope, nope. I am done with this confusion. Call me if you need me." Lex started to laugh, but nodded. "Take care, Thistle." Lysossia scratched the top of her head as she slithered over to Chasan. "If it makes you feel any better. I think you look lovely in that dress." Chasan looked to her. His ears perked up with delight as the sniffling stopped. "R-really? Thank you." Gillia had simply flown away instead of staying to watch the drama unfold. Sazla was simply shocked. "I, I didn't know this was a thing."

Philinna was simply looking off to the side, but was clearly blushing. Lex let out a sigh. He was a little upset with Divi, but also slightly amused. "Divi, you should apologize to Chasan. What you just did was not acceptable behavior." Divi started to protest, but Lex simply glared at her. "Yes, daddy." She walked over to Chasan and bowed her head to him. "I'm sorry for my rude behavior. Please forgive me, Chasan." Chasan's tail started to wag slowly. "Are you really sorry?" Divi nodded. "Yes, I won't do it again." Chasan moved to gently hug Divi and whispered into her ear. "Just help me get closer to your daddy and we'll call it even, okay?" Divi blinked before looking to Lex with a slight nod.

Lex had no idea what was said, but the way they were looking at him sent a chill down his spine. He gently coughed. "If you'll all give me a moment. I have a decision to make about the future of this land." They all nodded, but Philinna walked over to his side and asked in a whisper. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He looked to her before nodding slightly. "I think so." He looked at the list of available buildings and nodded slightly. He knew he would need to start a trading route as soon as possible. Although he liked the idea of the Market Place, the Dock was the only reasonable way to do that this early. However, he wanted to have the Blacksmith Shop soon too.

Lex continued to look over the different options, but no matter how he looked at it. He simply had to go with the Village and Well for his free building. It was simply too important to pass up. "I will be relying on your skills in the near future, but I first need to get people drawn to this area to help tend to the land." Philinna nodded. "I understand. I believe infrastructure would be of the upmost importance, no?" He chuckled. "As much as I've love to jump straight to that. I have to start with the structures first. People need homes, an ample supply of food, and of course, clean water."

Philinna looked around before nodding. "You are right. This place has low quality housing, minimal food, and sadly the clean water is rather limited within the forest." Lex looked to the screen before him and selected Village and Well for his first free building. Upon doing so, a light wind blew over the field before them. A massive amount of building materials appeared in the air, soon flying into place. Among these building materials were different grades of stone, wood, and metal quickly connecting together to form a rather cute start for a castle. This castle had a simple square frame, but detailed stone work lined its walls.

Everyone's attention was drawn to this building as it was formed. It stood roughly ten feet tall and had a simple square ridge every few feet along the edge of the roof. It was roughly thirty feet wide and in length too. This reminded Lex of some of the old castle designs he had seen as a child. Surrounding his newly formed castle were thirty, two story buildings that could easily house five people each. They had simple, brown, one angle slanted roofs, three window openings and a large wooden door. They were simple, but effective. What surprised Lex the most was there wasn't just one well, but two. One to the left side of his castle and one to the right.

Lysossia let out a giddy scream, drawing everyone's attention to her. She was looking deep into the forest. Lex walked over to her side. "What's wrong?" She sniffled once before looking to him as tears were swelling in her eyes. "You're very generous, my lord. I have just received word that my home has been upgraded. I can see a low amount of heat coming from my burrow from here. Did you perhaps take into account that I am cold blooded?" She bent down to hug him tightly as a few tears of joy ran down her face. "This is far more than I could have ever expected." As he hugged her in return, he began to wonder if the same had happened for Gillia, Thistle, and Philinna as well.

Lysossia kissed his cheek gently as her M score ticked up to 135. "I should go. I have much to do to keep up my end of this alliance." She wiped away her tears while slithering away. She didn't give him a chance to even reply. However, when he turned around he saw something he hadn't expected. Four new identical buildings had appeared to the left of his new village. They stood about seven feet tall and were roughly ten feet wide and in length too. He decided to use Observe on them since he didn't know what they were and while he was at it. He used Observe on his castle and one of the houses as well.

Observe:

Storage House. Common Quality. 7' H, 10 ' W, and 10 ' L. This building is used to store and manage wood, granite, metal, and/or gems. Maximum capacity 14,000 wood, 9,000 granite, 7,000 metal, or 1,000 gems. Material: Enchanted Wood, Reinforced Slate, Reinforced Steel, and Dwarven Rune of Protection. 1,000/1,000 Durability.

Lex's Castle. Legendary Quality. 10' H, 35' W, and 35' L. This building is your home within your Pocket Kingdom. The first floor currently has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, one meeting room, one dining area, and one vault. The basement has the same dimensions as the first floor, currently it houses five anti magic jail cells, five reinforced jail cells, two interrogation rooms, and one summoning chamber. Material: Marble, Granite, Stone, Enchanted Wood, Reinforced Steel, Magic Ward, Summoning Circle, Dwarven Rune of Protection, and Troll Rune of Regeneration. 2,500/2,500 Durability.

Special note: This building will regenerate all other buildings and itself within your kingdom as long as it stands. Current regeneration rate 10% per week. This building grants access to spacial equipment slots. Items within your Equipment Set Slots will no longer take up inventory space.

Village House. Common Quality. 17' H, 20' W, and 20' L. Standard home for Lex's villagers and subjects. This building has two floors. The first floor has one kitchen, one bathroom, one living room, one dining area, and one storage area. The second floor has one master bedroom, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Material: Enchanted Wood, Steel, Bronze, and Dwarven Rune of Protection. 500/500 Durability.

Special note: This building has running water and power through arcane energy contained within special gems. These gems will last up to 100 years without fail.

Lex was surprised by what he read, but it was nice to know what his limits were for holding resources. However, he was very surprised to know that his castle had a basement and moreover that his Equipment Set Slots would no longer take up inventory space. Philinna was next to let out a gasp, drawing only Lex's attention. He walked over to her side. "Did something catch your eye?" She nodded slightly. "This house would be perfect for me." He hadn't noticed, but the building she was looking at was smaller than the others, but it had a extra wide chimney. This would allow extra smoke and heat out of the house. He was certain this was for her forge and whatever other projects she might work on at home. He decided to use Observe on it.

Philinna's House. Common Quality. 10' H, 15' W, and 15' L. This building has one floor and a basement. The first floor has one kitchen and dining area, one bedroom and bathroom, and one living room. The basement has a chimney vent to direct excess heat out and its walls are reinforced with dark iron and dragon wood. Material: Dragon Wood, Dark Iron, Enchanted Wood, Steel, Dwarven Rune of Protection, and Elven Rune of Fire Warding. 750/750 Durability.

Lex smiled. "Go ahead and take it then. If you really want it, Philinna." Philinna looked to him then back to the house. "Can I really? Just like that?" He chuckled before lifting a hand up to her back and gently patted twice. "Of course, Philinna. I want you to be happy. You are important to me after all." She blushed deeply as her M score ticked up to 160. "Well, thank you, Lex. I won't forget this." She walked off to her house to check it out. If he wasn't mistaken, it looked like there was more spring in her step. Meanwhile, Divi, Sazla, Chasan, and Diniel were looking over the different buildings. They were simply too busy to notice Lex's conversation with Philinna.

Lex used this opportunity to open his inventory and set up his Equipment Set Slots with the appropriate items and put his shirt back on. By the time he was done, this is what they looked like.

Should he say his goodbyes and leave as soon as possible? Or should Lex make sure that Chasan, Diniel, and Philinna are settled in before leaving? Hmm, speaking of settling in. Should he spend his new 5 skill points before leaving? Or should he worry about it later?
