Adding a "personal" touch before saying farewell

A moment after Philinna left Lex's side, he realized that he finally had a moment to himself. He pulled his phone from his pocket to look at how much time he had remaining. According to his phone, they had been in here for about twelve hours. Sure, he had originally allowed for up to fifteen hours to work with, but that translated into only 36 extra minutes in the real world. He put his phone away as he sighed. "I wanted to see Lysossia's new home and how she is adjusting to it." However, if he tried to give everyone a proper goodbye before heading out he would at best have thirty minutes to try and look for Lysossia's burrow.

Lex shook his head before looking back up to his building screen and thought. 'I need to finish things up before making sure everyone is settled in. Now, let's see.' He selected, Mine, Dock, and Farm, quickly hitting build for each one. This cost him a total of 650 wood, 35 metal, and $7,500 for all three. However, to his surprise he saw a few acres of land change, the soil was exposed, a plow appeared, an ox, several other animals, a barn and silo, and a fence to keep the animals away from where the crops would be planted. He used Observe on it to get a better idea of what he was looking at.

Observe:

Farm. Common Quality. An acre of land dedicated to farm work (roughly 43650 ft squared), be it for raising animals, crops, or both. Enriched soil and feed is stored here, the soil is ready for tilling for crops, a large silo for storing grain, and a large barn dedicated to housing any animals on its premises during the winter. The barn's dimensions are 20' H, 50' W, and 50' L. The silo's cylinder dimensions are 100' H and 30' D. Material: Enchanted Wood, Reinforced Steel, and Enriched Fertilizer. 250/250 Durability.

One of the acres was by the village, another by the Eurasian's village, and another by the volcano. When Lex looked over toward the Eurasian village, he noticed a new structure along the coast. Although he couldn't see it very well from this distance, he was certain that it was the new dock he had purchased. He tilted his head, deciding to use Observe on it to get a better idea of what it had turned out to be like.

Observe:

Dock. Common Quality. Wooden platform extending 150' out into the sea then a 150' extension from there to the right. However, it has six docking ports extending further into the sea from this point, allowing up to two medium sized, (50' L and 25' W) trading boats and four medium sized, (30' L and 15' W) fishing boats to be docked at one time. With a smile, Lex looked up to the sky islands. His thoughts began to wander. 'If there are new and improved houses and farms down here. Would it be safe to assume that there are small farms and improved houses up there too?' He let out a breath before looking around. He couldn't see the mine anywhere, but he knew it had to be here somewhere. Although his resources for granite, metal, and gems had increased by 100% per day. It still bothered him that he couldn't see the mine itself.

Lex gently touched his lips with his right hand before shaking his head. It really wasn't important for him to locate the mine himself. However, with all of this out of the way. There was another important matter to attend to. He had 5 new skill points to spend and with how crazy things have been. It would be unwise to wait until something bad happened to spend them. After a brief look at his stats, he decided to put his 5 points in Endurance, increasing it from 35 to 40.

Lex closed the screen in front of him and decided to check in on Philinna first. He knocked on the front door that was slightly ajar. "Philinna, may I come in?" Her voice called from a doorway leading toward the basement. "My lord? Of course, I'm just in the basement. It's rather amazing down here." He stepped inside and simply glanced around the room. Although it was rather small, it was lovely, well put together, and had everything one would need to take care of their daily needs.

Lex made his way down the wide steps into the basement. When he looked to his left, he could see Philinna had already set up shop. Her tools, crucible, forge, and the like were there. She was just putting the last thing in place before turning around. She bowed her head slightly to him. "Thank you for giving this place to me. It's quite lovely." He blinked noticing a small smudge upon her right cheek. He licked his thumb and gently rubbed away that smudge from her cheek without a thought. Her eye widened as she blushed deeply. "Was there something on my face?"

Lex nodded slightly. "Sorry about that. I did it without thinking. It's just, you have such a lovely face. I didn't want to see it covered in soot." Philinna bit her bottom lip while slightly nodding. Her M score ticked up to 165. "Oh? Um, thank you. I understand, but my profession causes that to happen often." He moved in a little closer as he took her right hand with his and gently squeezed it. "I know, but I felt you should know." He looked away from her then around the room for just a moment before looking back to her. She was simply watching him, blushing all the more deeply. He smiled and let go of her hand as he leaned in slowly and kissed the tip of her nose. "You're quite cute when you blush. Did you know that?"

Philinna shook her head quickly, but her eye stayed focused on Lex. He backed up slightly. "Well, that's how I feel about it." He looked slightly away then back to her. "Sadly, I need to get going. I'm sure the others will need your help. I trust you'll do what you can for them for me." She nodded slightly. "I will do my best for you, my lord." He nodded with a soft smile. "Good. Until I return, stay safe." He moved to leave, allowing Philinna to relax and work on settling in. It wasn't long after that he found the others, Divi, Sazla, Diniel, and Chasan, looking at several of the houses near the back end of the castle.

Although, none of the other houses seemed to be a specialized as Philinna's had been. Diniel and Chasan seemed awfully fond of a pink house toward the back end of the castle. Upon Lex's approach, Divi and Sazla ran up to greet him, hugging him tightly from either side. Divi spoke first. "These houses are nice, but they are almost exactly the same, daddy." However, before he could reply, Sazla started to pout. "I missed you and I want to go home." He chuckled with a slight nod. "I am certain that will change in time, Divi." He kissed the top of Divi then Sazla's head. "I missed you both too, but I want to make sure Diniel and Chasan are all settled in before we go. It'll just be a few more minutes, okay?"

They both nodded before letting Lex go. Lex walked over to Diniel and Chasan as they approached the pink house. "Ah, finally found one you both like?" Diniel and Chasan both nodded. Chasan moved closer to Lex. "Yes, but what are you doing here my lord?" Lex lifted a brow. "I'm here to make sure you both are settled in before I leave. You are both free to take any one home that isn't already taken." They looked to one another then back to him before Diniel asked. "One home for each of us?"

Lex nodded slightly. "If that is what you both desire. Although, you aren't forbidden from choosing one together. However, it is an option." They smiled widely and hugged one another before pulling him into the hug too. To Lex's surprise, he felt a hand on his ass, but he wasn't sure if it was Diniel's or Chasan's. This was made clear when Chasan's M score ticked up to 60. Several seconds later, they released him from their embrace. Their tails were wagging slowly as Diniel spoke. "I think we'll take this pink one then. We both happen to love the color pink." Chasan nodded. "Yes and even though we like a bit of privacy from time to time. We don't enjoy being apart for long."

Chasan leaned in and whispered into Lex's ear. "That includes intimate moments. Oh, and just think about this. Unlike a woman's pussy. Lex swallowed before nodding slightly. "Really? Hmm, I really should discipline them about talking about my dick." Diniel and Chasan both giggled again as he continued to speak. "Well, enough of this. I hope you both enjoy your new home. However, I need to get back to mine. I have pressing work awaiting me. Until we meet again. Please, stay safe." Diniel and Chasan both nodded as he walked over to Divi and Sazla. "Are you both ready?" They nodded with relief in their eyes before walking to either side of him. He opened his inventory to pull out his Warpstone. "All right, hold onto me and we'll go home." Shortly after, they hugged him gently.

Lex looked to them as his thumb pressed the green spiral pattern. It quickly filled up with light and the world around them shattered into an empty void. While in this temporary void, he began to wonder about a few things. Just how much extra time would he have remaining? Will he make it to work in time? If he had enough time, should he grab something to eat before work? Or call for something to be brought to him instead?
