Chapter 15
by
Rowenar
What happens?
Rescue! ...Sort of
Rose whimpered, hugging her legs against her bare chest, feeling her ass against the ground. Oh god, she'd never felt so humiliated, and she still didn't have a clue where she was, let alone how to get out.
What kind of place was this?
"Rose!"
Wait. She looked up, whimpers stopping; she knew that voice.
"Rose! Rose Tyler!"
"Doctor!" she shouted back, then blushing, not wanting to draw any more attention.
Oh god, the Doctor was going to see her like this. But- no, no, that was embarrassing but at least it meant this was over. It was better than being stuck in this place.
"Rose!" he shouted, much more happily. "Where are you?"
She flushed. Awkwardly she stuck out a hand, waving around the side of the bus stop, still not wanting to move into view.
It didn't stop her squeaking the Doctor finally came into view, grinning; his joy only faltered slightly when he saw her nude state.
"Rose, I'm sorry," he said. "This place is..."
"Weird and humiliating," Rose said.
"Not always, but- this part is. Yes," he said. "I'm just glad I found you before..."
He took off his jacket; apparently he'd come wearing two. Breathing a sigh of relief, Rose reached out for it, standing up to wrap it around herself. Finally, real clothes-
It disintegrated almost the moment it touched her skin, leaving her clutching the air. Rose shrieked, standing down, crossing one arm over her bare chest, the other trying to hide her pussy.
Eyes wide, cheeks red, she looked at the Doctor - oh god he could see - and whimpered at the expression on his face.
"Local rules," he murmured, not entirely convinced. "Has to be. We just need to... Rose, come on!"
"What?" Rose squeaked; she glanced down at herself.
"The TARDIS isn't far," he said. "Once we're in its environment, out of here, this will be over. Unless- no, it'll be over."
He offered a hand then, thinking better of it, withdrew it. Instead he nodded, and turned to start running.
Red-faced, Rose ran after him, squeaking as it felt like every pair of eyes on the street was now focused on her ass. She focused on following the Doctor, bare feet clattering against the ground, turning through an alley-
And ending up not in any city, but an endless white void.
"What-" she began.
"I'll explain later," the Doctor said. "Come on!"
Flushing, Rose followed to the familiar, comforting shape of a blue box in the distance. She followed the Doctor inside, breathing a sigh of relief as the door shut behind her.
Hurriedly she grabbed at a blanket that lay over a rail, wrapping it around herself. It'd last until she-
It too turned to dust. Rose shrieked again. Oh god, oh god-
She looked to the Doctor, still blushing, hoping for some reassurance, but now his expression was considerably darker.
"What-" she squeaked.
"What happened when you were out there?" the Doctor said, urgently.
Rose's blush deepened. "I- uh-"
"Alright, not every detail," he said. "But were there any- I don't know, books you got trapped in, or-"
"What?" Rose said.
"It's important," the Doctor said. "That was the Land of Fiction. Made by a very bored, very powerful group of gods. Stories play themselves out endlessly, and when real people end up in it, the Land wants them. It... look, long story, but was there anything like that? Books, words..."
"There was a laptop," Rose said after a moment.
"What did it do?" the Doctor said. "Please. This is important."
"It, um, sucked me inside," Rose said. "Kind of. I- it didn't really seem to do much." she hesitated. "Doctor?"
He'd closed his eyes. When he opened them, he seemed sympathetic.
"A laptop stores data. Probably as good as a book," he said. "The first time I was here... Being trapped in a book made you fictional, and getting out's no easy feat."
"What?" Rose said, nervously. "I'm not- I'm not fictional."
"You weren't," the Doctor said. "The Land made you part of it."
"You- you mean I'm trapped here?" Rose said, eyes wide.
"No," the Doctor said, slowly. "No, I don't think... I saw denizens of the Land trying to escape it a while ago. A little regeneration energy, power from the TARDIS, that should keep you together. Not that this is the worst place to be trapped; you were just in one subgenre, there are whole worlds to explore. Kinda keep meaning to visit her properly, not just dropping in like this."
"Doctor," Rose said, trying to end his babbling.
"Right," he said. "The... the problem is where you were converted. You landed in some place dedicated to ENF, that's-"
"Embarrased nude female, I know," Rose said.
"You do?" the Doctor said. "How do you-"
"Doesn't matter," Rose coughed. "What were you saying? Was that why everything..."
Her cheeks burned; the Doctor nodded.
"So if you'd been converted there, you'd be a character from that genre. Meaning..."
"Meaning I'd keep losing my clothes," Rose said, squeaking. "So is that-"
"Um... not exactly," he said.
"What?" she said.
"You'd moved on from there," the Doctor said. "A nearby genre, but not the exact same. Uh..."
He mumbled something inaudible. Rose whimpered, arms desperately hugging her naked body, hoping the Doctor would at least magic up some solution, that his answer would be something better than ENF.
"Doctor?" Rose said. "Doctor! Where was I?"
"You know, you humans do come up with the strangest things," the Doctor said. "You could have ended up a superhero, or a detective, or-"
"Doctor!" Rose said, her cheeks flaming.
"Permanent," he said awkwardly. "Permanent naked women. It- Like it sounds. For so long as you're subject to the genre, you'll never be able to get dressed."
Is there any solution?
