The old barn's doors are opened wide. Behind it, there's a decently sized field of tall grass and bales of hay. What's most colourful is the rainbow of feathers. There are several creatures, perhaps more you can't see, moving in and out of shelter by the stomp of talons on stick avian legs. Some have shimmering, vibrant red bodies like their feathers are of polished cut rubies. You see one that's a deep, gorgeous shade of blue. There's green, yellow, pink, and more. The creatures themselves are much larger than you first imagined. Upon long necks, the heads sit higher than that of a draft horse. Each has a hulking body by comparison to any land bird you know from Earth, let alone the namesake of this beasts. One could definitely carry a few fully sized humans on its back.

You stare in awe. There's nothing silent about the sound of their claws scratching deep into the grass near the fence. When one jabs its beak into the soil, it's a mighty blow that could fracture bone. Their eyes are wide and focused, as if they already notice your presence, and are ready to react if needed.

Eva squeezes her arms around the fence post nearest to the gate with a wide smile. "Emus are so awesome!"

"Though I think I still like horses more, I gotta give it to emus. They're pretty cool," says Niki.

"There are far quieter creatures one can mount," Snow adds. "But we have no reason to be stealthy."

Amara places a hand upon Eva's back as she approaches. "Their feathers are lovely, but soft as well."

Then Niki glances over with a nervous swallow--enticed. "How hard would it be to take one?"

She chuckles. "If you **** it, you will likely have a fight on your hands, but emus shed their feathers somewhat frequently."

A dwarf emerges from around the bend. There isn't a hair on his head. Though his chin is quite the opposite, his beard splits in nearly opposite directions. Garbed in some overalls of thick cloth--dungaree--and a loose dirty unbuttoned shirt, he approaches the fence with a lit pipe in his mouth. A cloud of smoke trails behind him. "Ah, you're back," he says, though his words are partly impeded by the finely carved wood clenched between his teeth. He then removes it from his lips with a stocky hand. "I hardly noticed how you left. A sneaky one, you are. But I see you brought your friends."

Snow nods. "I think we only need three still, right, Kyle? Two people per mount is easy for an emu."

You glance to Xiaoqing. "These ain't emus," you say.

She shrugs. "They're like chocobos, though!"

"A little less cutesie, and a lot more dangerous, but yeah. Seems that way." You return your gaze to Snow and nod. "Sounds good to me."

You feel Amara tug on your sleeve.

"What is it?" you ask as you turn.

"I should inform you that both Niki and Eva have already jumped the fence."

The dwarf spins around the instant he hears that. "What? When?!"

Meanwhile, Niki is laughing hysterically as one of the emus continuously attempts to thrust its peak towards the girl's body. She runs, like it's a game, being chased by the swift bird in her wake, though after a moment, one of the attacks finally lands. It strikes her in the back, and she falls face-first into the grass.

"What are you doing--?!" the dwarven man screams in fear.

But she gets back up like nothing happened. All that's happened is her forehead is now filthy. "Just bonding."

Eva affectionately strokes the vestigial wing of a sapphire-coloured bird. "That's not how you bond with them, Niki. They need love and care. They're noble, beautiful mounts, fit for a warrior queen. Strong but pretty."

A green emu comes up behind her, and clamps its beak down around the bottom of her dress. It's pulled up, causing the poor girl to stumble forwards. Fortunately the other mount is there to buffer her fall, though a pair of lace purple panties are now on display for any nearby. Her cheeks turn red as she tries to steady herself enough to fight back, but it's such an awkward position, and she doesn't want to tear the fabric either.

"And how's that going for you?" Niki asks, taking a beak casually to her side. It does nothing.

"S-Stop!" Eva cries, but then the one in front of her turns. It reaches down slowly, and then takes hold of her low cut collar. Pulled in two different ways, she can no longer do anything to stop her clothing from being torn. There's an audible rip, and her tits come spilling out as the front of her dress opens completely. Now frantic, she tries her best to cover up her chest, though that leaves her unable to balance. With the skirt still being yanked, she falls to the ground, rear in the air. "Leave me alone!"

The dwarf puts a hand on his chest. "I... Wow. I've never seen these emus come to love someone so quickly."

"... That's how they show love?" Xiaoqing asks.

"Well, they aren't hurting her."

"Th-They have my panties now, Kyle! Help~!" Eva calls out.

"I better step in," you say. "Don't worry. I'll fix up her clothes, and we'll be out of your hair--" You stare at him for a lengthy, awkward moment. "We'll be out of your beard in no time." So all I gotta do is decide the riding order. If there are six of us, and we're renting three, we need to split into pairs. Who should I ride with?
