Chapter 11
by Albedo
What's next?
Rene, uncaged
Rene scuttled across the cage's floor on his hands and knees towards the metal object, deliberately ignoring the way his heavy breasts swayed from side to side pulling at his slim shoulders. The strange iron contraption locked around his narrow waist and feminine groin also made its confining presence known with the heavy padlock securing it in place clinking and rattling as it swung freely on its hasp. Damn this body, Rene cursed to himself, damn this planet, I want to go home! He was on a mission though, he was a high-ranking officer in the Confederation service and he had a job to do. Right now though the body he was currently the sole occupant of was what he needed to do that job, damn it. He'd seen combat and risked his life more than once in his career but this mission, this experience, this was something else.
The metal glint turned out to be the key that Kyra, whoever she really was, had thrown into the corner after she had locked the cage door behind her. More scuttling and more disturbing bodily sensations later he manoeuvered the key through the bars into the padlock securing the cage door. Careful now, don't drop it and... Damn. The lock was recalcitrant and his weak fingers couldn't get leverage to twist it open.
"Let me try, Major." Luke-Kyra whispered from behind him. "I'm... well, not exactly myself but I think I can keep control, at least for a bit. The **** bane is a bitch," he paused and laughed quietly, "Well it's making me act like a bitch but I think I've managed to switch off the nanites in this body that were revving up the **** bane's effects. Maybe." He shrugged. "I'll find out eventually, I suppose." He glanced back at the discarded dildo-gag lying over by the wall, its thick black rubber shaft glistening in the faint lantern-light. "If things get bad I can always..."
Rene held up a hand to stop Luke-Kyra from saying anything more then passed the precious key to his subordinate before moving aside to give him access to the cage's door. Luke-Kyra dexterously inserted the key in the keyhole and twisted and the lock popped open on his first try, confirming that Rene's Bendari-**** body was even weaker than he initially feared.
"Lock it again." Rene ordered. Luke-Kyra raised a delicately-shaped eyebrow but complied, snapping the heavy padlock back into place. "Let's figure out what to do now we know we can get out, but if someone comes to check on us..." Luke-Kyra nodded then held up the small key.
"I dunno Major but this key might fit the padlock on your... uh, flower basket." Luke-Kyra said, gesturing with the key at the padlock on the detestable device secured around his waist and groin. Rene blinked, thinking quickly. Yes it might fit the damn thing's lock and he'd be more than glad to be free of its unavoidable embrace but what if they encountered crewmen on the ship after they left the confines of the cage? Being securely locked in the 'flower basket' seemed like it might not be such a bad idea, considering the alternative. What to do, and would the key even work in this other padlock?

Acteon
Master and .
Acteon is a pre industrial UNESCO protected world classified in the Confederation Dossiers as an M class planet, colonized by humans in the year 2304, nine hundred years ago. The colonists were Naturals, eschewing technology in favor of an agricultural civilization. The settlers deliberately eradicated all knowledge of the other worlds in their histories, and, not surprisingly, became isolated and regressed to a feudal society. The world was now roughly equivalent to the Dark Ages of Earth in its warlike nature and level of technology. The colonists were assumed in Confederation Intelligence to have perished very soon after their arrival, and the recent rediscovery of the planet and its inhabitants required careful handling. It was decided that no contact should be made, and that its civilization should not be interfered with. Watchers were placed on the planet, to record and study its people and guard against outside interference. It's easy to become a powerful figure on a planet with inferior knowledge and technology, and this was precisely what the Societal Conservation Board was set up to prevent. The cultures lowest social caste were girls. girls were selectively bred for specific physiological and psychological traits. The -wardens of Acteon also developed a that the female slaves ingested with their meals, which affected their pleasure centers and made them quite docile and submissive at the same time. Every person of noble birth owned at least one , and marriages to slaves were not unheard of, though such marriages in no way nullified the girls' status, and a husband would commonly offer his wife- for guest's use. Not to offer would be discourteous, to refuse, in turn, was an insult to the host. A free woman who invested the also became a . Visits by Confederation citizens are not normally allowed as they may undermine the unique archaic culture. Not that confederation citizens don’t visit. That’s where the exchangers come in. The device was undetectable and required that the target and the maintain physical contact for ten minutes, to allow for full mental data transfer. Some citizens pay exorbitant money to swap their minds into the body of a willing Knight or free woman for a short time to experience this archaic lifestyle. Some pay to swap into the body of a lowly girl... such swaps are generally permanent given few slaves want to return to their former life, although some are temporary. Others visit Acteon involuntarily... This is based on the following tale: http://www.fictionmania.tv/stories/scifi/slaves-acteon.txt Cover by Fotzenglotz
