Remind Sabrina that Gemma knows what you two are up to

“OK, let’s run a scenario,” you tell Sabrina. She is listening. “We tell Gemma no, explain that we are exclusive to each other; What keeps her from reporting us to HR?”

“She’s a decent person,” Sabrina argues.

“Sure, but she has something on us,” you counter. “What’s that going to mean for the work environment in the future? Forget being reported, how about everyday tasks? Will we have to do stuff for her because we don’t want to piss her off because she has the hot gos on us?”

“Hot gos?”

“You know what I mean. If a rumor goes around that we’re hooking up in the office, HR will come down on us whether there’s an official report or not!”

Sabrina sighs. “So you’re saying we need to keep her in the loop or else she’ll start spreading rumors about us? I don’t think she’ll do that!”

“But you don’t know for sure,” you point out. “What better way to keep her quiet than to include her?”

“I guess…” Sabrina eventually relents. She still doesn’t seem too enthused by it.

“What’s the matter? I thought you like Gemma,” you ask.

“It’s not her,” she replies, taking a moment before finally getting the real issue off her chest. “It’s just, the moment I thought I had you all to myself, you’re off looking at another girl again! I thought our first time was going to be special and here we ended up turning it into a threesome!”

You frown. You can’t argue what happened. Your first time together came out of the heat of the moment and that led to a series of events which ended with Gemma getting involved. From Sabrina’s perspective, you actively pursued Gemma. She didn’t see what happened under the table, but trying to explain that you were attempting to cover things up sounds hollow and self serving. You keep the real story to yourself, but try to console her in another way.

“You’re right,” you tell her. “Our first time together should have been just you and me. I can’t change that, but I can make it up to you.”

Sabrina raises an eyebrow. “Make it up how?”

“That’s for me to know,” you tease. You’ll need some time to think of the answer anyways. In the meantime, you still have an issue to resolve. “As for right now, what’s the verdict on Gemma joining our arrangement?”

Sabrina rubs her arms and sighs softly. “Yeah, she can join us…” she agrees. She then raises a finger to issue her caveats, “But only with the three of us together! If you go sneaking behind my back with her, I swear I’ll… I don’t know, but it won’t be nice!”

“Wait, what if she wants to get with YOU, one on one?”

“That’ll be fine,” Sabrina responds with a curt nod, matter of factly.

“That’s not fair at all!” you argue.

Sabrina giggles. She knew you’d respond like that. “OK… how about if we ever find ourselves in an unavoidable situation of having to hook up with Gemma without the other person able to join, we have to get each other’s permission to proceed.”

“I’m amenable to that,” you accept. “So… Do I get permission for tonight?”

“No! I’ve got loads of extra work to do thanks to this, you don’t get to have fun!” Sabrina retorts. “Go find something else to do!”

You let out a sigh. With the arrangement worked out, you inform Gemma. Sabrina gives her the details about permission and Aussie is happy to oblige. Sabrina also informs her that you do not have permission today.

“Aww, wot a shame,” Gemma consoles, rubbing your arm. “Guess you’ll be stuck at home having a wank!”

You quickly turn to Sabrina and ask, “Do visual aids count? Gemma could just show me the goods and we could only touch ourselves… No? That look is telling me no. OK, you’re right. It was a silly thought.”

Gemma shrugs, “I would have been game.”

“You really are a lot more outgoing than I first thought when I met you,” you inform her.

“You never know unless you try, right?” she grins.

“OK, it’s getting late and I have a lot of work to catch up on,” Sabrina says, breaking up the party. “Plus we have to clean up the board room now!”

“Well, good luck with that!” you tell them, strolling out of the room.

“You’re not helping?” Sabrina asks in shock.

“I never promised Furman any of that! Besides, I’m an hour behind my own work!” you tell her as you step out and close the door in front of them. It shuts just in time to block the pair of panties being thrown your way.

You chuckle to yourself as you head back to your desk. Teasing aside, you do feel like you should be doing something special for Sabrina. Your big moment together got sullied due to circumstance and you want to make it up to her.
