Despite the best efforts of Adonis and Jamaal, his injury continued to linger throughout the preseason. At the inception of the year, he was at the end of the bench. He'd have a lot of catching up to do he knew, and even catching up with the offense and plays was an obstacle. Finally, by the fourth game, he received a clean bill of health from the team and Adonis, but playing time was not promised.
