Refuse The Principal's Quid Pro Quo

"I....I can't believe this. I can't believe you." Leah said aghast "Are you serious?"

"Yes," He said dead pan "I am serious. Do you want the little life you have dreamed of or would you rather everyone know about this?" He pulled his phone back up and showed her a still of a disgusting scene she had tried so hard to forget. Jesus were there really that many guys? she thought.

"What you are doing is illegal. This is ****." Leah stated, as if that would be enough for him to recoil from her.

"You are right Miss Williams, this is ****. But I don't think you are going to go and say anything to anyone. If you do....well lets just say I would hate for the local news paper to receive an anonymous tip that a local school teacher once did this--" he waved his phone around "on camera."

Leah fumed and crossed her arms. He was right. She couldn't go to the authorities, not without having her sordid past also come into the public spotlight.

"You are disgusting I cannot believe you are trying to do this." she fought back tears. Leah was having a hard. "I am NOT going to do this." She shook her head violently hoping she wouldn't begin crying.

"Miss Williams. Your job--your happy marriage--when you get married--depends on it. What will your fiancé do when he finds out the love of his life was just a dirty little whore? And a jobless whore too?" Principal Howard's tone turned dark. "Or does he already know that?" he added rhetorically.

"I cannot believe you are asking me to do this." Leah spat out her eyes filling with tears that she fought back just barely. She turned to go to the door "I am not doing this. This is wrong. I won't be your plaything." she opened the door and began to leave.
