Red Alert

Suddenly alarms go off and the doors to the lab shut and lock. For a moment you panic, but then you remember this is clearly part of the scenario, so no need to panic, as you turn to Abby and say “What’s going on?”

“New security sensors, they must have reacted to something on the paper, and sent the lab into lock down, looks like you and I are here till the lockdown lifts.”

She says with a shrug “I don’t think it’s poisonous, but it’s something…let’s put in Major Mass Spec.”

She says cutting a piece of the paper and putting it in a vial. As she does that you can’t help but notice her slightly squirm in her lap coat. However, she then puts the paper in the machine and it hums to life as she turns to you and says “and now we wait.”
