Rather Serious

“That comment would work for Ino,” said Sakura, “if she could keep her hands off my ass when we slept.” After a moment she seemed to regret her words. “Forget you heard that, please.” I was already shipping them two in my mind.

Sakura saw me squeezing the corner and shook her head.

“Come on, my ass isn’t that big,” said Sakura. I laughed nervously as my eyes finally regarded her waist. The black tactical pants she was wearing didn’t reveal any skin, but they did seem a size or two too small. Which wasn’t the worst thing.

“Your pants may say otherwise,” I said. Shit, that was too much. Sakura wasn’t my friend. And that comment was sort of creepy from a stranger.

Sakura regarded me without a word for a second.
